Unknown designer - geometric metal pendant light
Exceptional mid century lamp.Entirely made of (sheet) metal.Fine geometrical design based on rectangular and square planes. The lamp has two types of "sides": the closed sides with an indirect light effect and the open sides with direct vision on the selected light bulb. This suggests that the lamp may have been intended as a wall light but there is nothing in the way of a wall mount or indications for this. In our opinion, it is more beautiful and logical to use it as a pendant light as presented here. Two colours: taupe and cream- white. Not signed (or no longer visible). Probable origin and period: Western Europe, around .Takes one E27 light bulb, in a screw fitting. Including 200 cm new cord, so ready for high ceilings. The current suspension has been installed by us and is not original. On the side edge on top of the suspension is a factory hole. It is not known what this was for. Measurements:Height: 20 cmWidth: 19.5 cmDepth: 15.5 cm.Condition:Good.Metal in very good condition. No deformation or damage.Various traces of use and age on the paint. There are mild darker spots due to heat and sunlight. There are various scratches and dots in the paint, especially in two of the three taupe planes.Very slight corrosion on some of the edges. This is limited to the edges, however, nothing to be seen on the planes.Exceptional lamp! Please see the photos for more details. Read More
