The bamboo is gilded gold colour and is very good condition all round. A hollywood regency gem. A very large high quality table light made from cast metals - this includes predominately aluminium and maybe other metals. The light consists of a series of painted metal circles that are revolvable at the painted metal base (the paint you see that is worn on the edges is intentional).The lamp comes with its original fabric shade which is in good order..The light in general is in very good condition and works fine.It measures 68 cms to the top of the bulb holder.There is a label to the underside of the base that states it is by R V Astley - it actually says R.V.K.Lighting with member of the lighting association reference number. Beautiful and large table lamp, fully made of alabaster.The lamp has a design that was clearly inspired by a wine glass. The lamp has a small lamp holder (E14).This lamp gives of beautiful and cosy light when it is turned on. It is also a beautiful object in any chic or classic interior, even when the lamp is not turned on.A low wattage lamp was used for the photos.The beautiful cosy effect is even stronger when using a higher wattage lamp. Condition: The alabaster has a number of small white dots, but these could be polished out. It also has a green stripe on the base, which is hard to remove.Otherwise it is in good and functioning condition. No cracks or tears in the alabaster. A table lamp from the 70s consisting of 3 chromed metal cylinders, placed on top of a round brushed aluminium foot. The cylinders are and 30 cm high, respectively. Diameter of the cylinders is 4.5 cm. Diameter of the base:16 cm, 2 cm high. At the sides of the cylinders, at the top, two vertical grooves have been applied. A not so commonplace table lamp. Gold-coloured coated aluminium back plate shaped like the sun. The lamp holder is attached to the back plate.The front features a satinised convex glass plate in the shape of a cloud that is clamped on. The result is a sun shining behind the cloud(s). A beautiful poetic lamp. Sits on four legs with round feet.The lamp is marked with a sticker on the lamp holder which indicates the brand/producer with ´P´ and a hand-written article number. This last fact possibly indicates a very small production.It holds one E14 light bulb with a screwed fitting, preferably a small bulb so it does not stick out above the cloud.
