This Murano glass pendant light is quite an eye-catcher both in its illuminated and non-illuminated state. The design consists of three leaf like panels with an outward folding edge. Each segment is manufactured from a mixture of thick transparant and smokey quartz coloured Murano glass. The panels are held together by metal bolts which don't detract from the lamp's delicate composition. The lamp is suspended from the ceiling by the original non-extendable (!) spiral cable. We kept the cable in place as it's proof of its original condition. It has been checked and is still safe to use (220V European standard). But if, for esthetic reasons, a buyer would like to replace the cable, it would be a straightforward job for an electrician or handy man to do. Beautiful mid-century pendant light with post-modernistic influences. A relatively large glass pendant light shaped like a light bulb. The soft honey colour guarantees a very warm light effect. The fitting of the glass hood is made of brass-coated aluminium and attached with three screws that can easily be undone by hand. Not signed. Judging from the design, colour and original wiring it dates back to the period . Fits one E27 light bulb.Includes a 200 cm cord, so it is also ready for high ceilings. Non-conventional mid century wall light. Chromed subtly bend wall plate with a large glass sphere in the middle. Not signed. Very Italian in style. Both the design and finish are very fine. Perfectly for in a seventies style living room, rock 'n roll style kitchen, but also perfectly suitable for in a bathroom. We believe this piece to be a one-off, custom made floor lamp. The geometric design is indicative of the time it was made, which is the late 's, early 's. A central square has a vertical arm attached to its of its side.The poles are of different height creating a cluster effect. At the top of each pole or stand rests a solid Murano glass shade with a three dimensional hexagonal shape.
