This chair is believed to have been designed by Andre Vandenbueck for Strassle International, Switzerland in the 60's. This is a beautiful and rare vintage leather and chrome chair. The chair is extremely comfortable and the leather is supple. There are no tears in the leather, but there are a few marks and scuffs as you would expect from a chair that is 50 years old! Personally I think this only add's to the look. The chrome is shinny but there are a few patches from knocks over the years. Again, it's only what you would expect and only adds to the look. The chrome legs are very different and look really cool. I have searched the web extensively and cannot find another chair that has this style of chrome legs, so its fair to say this is an fantastic opportunity to buy a beautiful design that is also very rare and in good condition.
