Primary Music & Education is a new and already rapidly-expanding company which supplies musicians into primary schools to deliver a specialist music curriculum to whole classes within the 4-11 age range. We are looking for self-employed musicians with a background in peripatetic teaching, working in primary schools or similar, who have at least Grade 5 Theory and Grade 6 Practical, living in the Exeter and East Devon area. A teaching qualification is not necessary, just experience of working with children, an excellent understanding of music, and a great personality and rapport with young people. The curriculum and assessment programme has been written by a musician and teacher with more than 25 years' experience and full support and training will be given to the successful applicants.
