I would like to bring to people's attention that in Belper we have a thriving Town Band. This band is open to all players of any wind instrument. The band meets every Tuesday evening at 7.15pm and we play until 9.30pm. Advice can be given to players about onward progression. We actively encourage new members of all ages. Currently our youngest member is about 12 and our eldest is 72. Musical ability is not a problem as we accept complete beginners and those returning to music after a long absence who wish to start again. The conductor and leader of this group is a musician experienced in all woodwind and brass instruments and can provide help and advice on most matters. Last year we performed several concerts, in all areas of Derbyshire. If anyone is interested in a concert then please contact us. Our fees are very reasonable. MISSING FEMALE RABBIT BELPER in Belper

On the night of 31st December / Morning of 1st January, our 4yr old female rabbit Bluebell went missing from Bargate rd, Belper. She is a Blue / Grey colour, very tame and a very large breed. She free ranges our garden daily so its extremely unusual for her to go missing especially as her cage was locked and supper untouched.
