Welsh section c gelding 5 year old (not measured) Chico would make an ideal project for someone to work on, he has so much potential, he has three fantastic paces. He has lovely friendly stable manners, great to turn out and catch, can be left for a week or so unridden and doesn’t get hot headed or giddy, he is fine to clip and good with the farrier, We’ve taken Chico to Somerford park which he loved. Welsh section A 23 years old. Dependable pony who has done everything. Great with children. Can be stubborn, he is getting on a bit!!! still has plenty of energy and in good health!!! Never had laminitus. He doesn't like being in the school too long. But he loves hacking.. Only needing a new home because my children are moving on from riding and chosen other hobbies!! 11hh welsh section A pony club lead rein pony

Our beloved pony Barney is sadly up for sale after 7 great years. All my children have ridden him from being toddlers and he has been their first pony so this is such a sad sale. He enjoys being worked and will whinny when he sees you bringing tack so it's unfair on him to be left without a job. I am advertising him as a lead rein pony as this is what he prefers in a schooling situation as he can be nappy without his leader in the arena and he much prefers having mum or dad to walk beside or even run in front. He will hack out perfectly off the lead and goes off your voice. He has been ridden around hopton x country off the lead and on the farnley ride and Escrick park. He will jump small jumps and has got a good jump but it's not something he enjoys. He is just ridden now and then at the moment but he is exactly the same ride how ever long he is left. Barney has been involved with all pony club activities including mounted games, mini camp, mini cross country, lessons and jumping with my daughter from being age 5. He has competed on the mini mounted games for 2 seasons on the lead and did wetherby weekend this year off the lead in the junior team and did great. Totally unfazed with a busy environment and does not get silly or excitable, he's very happy to stand on the line and just wait his turn and knows the equipment. When at shows he just stands patiently and nods off. He will ride and lead and is responsive to voice commands which is great for teaching little ones to canter on the lead. A shout of whoa quickly brings him back to walk! We've stayed away at shows and he is happy to be corralled in an pen and will not stress if left on his own, he just enjoys being out and having a job to do. He can be a bit grumpy to handle and will pull the odd face. He will live out with a shelter or come in at night and he is happy with both. He is very clean in the stable and will poo in a bucket at the back! He can be left for weeks and then ridden and he is exactly the same, just steady away. Bargain 13.1 pony - fun teenagers pony or summer SJ project

Smart, intelligent and friendly pony. Native/New Forest type (I was told Welsh cross, but no breeding known, she has a basic passport). A stocky 'big' 13.1hh (measures just over) easily takes a small adult or teenager. She can be strong and is naturally forward thinking and responsive, so absolutely not for a novice but a talented pony in the right hands. Good paces, flatwork isn't really her thing! But get her on side and she's a real trier, started learning leg yield recently. Loves to jump, she is fast, scopey and bold but as yet unproven competitively, she is low mileage and mostly been an adults hacking pony (on and off road) or a companion. She really is a smart pony with plenty of potential for a confident and competent rider to bring on. She'd love now to find someone more her size and who likes the same things she does to progress her jumping - maybe an ideal summer project for an experienced teenager. She is up to date with farrier (unshod with excellent feet) worming, physio and teeth. Just had vaccinations started. No known health issues, she is a good doer and prefers to live out but will stable with company, good with electric fencing, a bit of a bully around food but otherwise quiet in the field. An exceptional 13hh show pony for sale due to lack of interest from my daughter chatty is a cracking pony I had her broken early this year and my daughter has rode her also started off lead rein and was fab. Welsh Section A Pony

Very sad sale of Pandora who is a 7 year old Welsh Section a Pony that has been a part of our family for two years. She was bought for my little girl to do lead rein showing originally as she is so pretty but my little girl is ready to come off lead rein and Pandora is too forward going for her. Pandora would make a fab second pony or lead rein m&m. She thrives on work and loves to jump. She has completed a cross country course with a bigger person on her where she was in her element!!!! Pandora or Pandy as we call her is currently in a riding school being ridden by the older kids where she is in group lessons and doing what is expected of her. She can try and be cheeky but once reminded will do what is expected of her. We have taken her out on the road on the lead rein and she is happy to follow another horse and hasn't been phased by any of the surroundings. Only reasoning selling is purely because my little girl finds her too forward going, she needs something older to build her confidence off the lead.
