Hi, This is Poppy she is just over 4.5 years old.We got Poppy for our daughter,but she is just to much to handle for her on her own as she's only a little 11 year old,Poppy is just young and being a bit bossy and needs more attention than what we can give her, we love her dearly and want the best home possible to help bring her on, Once broken she would make a fantastic show pony, she loves children,she loves following you about in the field and will happily stand by you and watch you poo pick and help you out by tipping the barrow over just for laughs. Sweet and loving former show pony now used as family pony and mostly for hacking. Pony is out of condition as has not been in work due to misfitting saddle. Personal circumstances mean we very sadly have to sell. Not suitable for inexperienced family or novice rider but with work and rehabilitation on back, will be a super family pony again. 11hh welsh section A pony club lead rein pony

Our beloved pony Barney is sadly up for sale after 7 great years. All my children have ridden him from being toddlers and he has been their first pony so this is such a sad sale. He enjoys being worked and will whinny when he sees you bringing tack so it's unfair on him to be left without a job. I am advertising him as a lead rein pony as this is what he prefers in a schooling situation as he can be nappy without his leader in the arena and he much prefers having mum or dad to walk beside or even run in front. He will hack out perfectly off the lead and goes off your voice. He has been ridden around hopton x country off the lead and on the farnley ride and Escrick park. He will jump small jumps and has got a good jump but it's not something he enjoys. He is just ridden now and then at the moment but he is exactly the same ride how ever long he is left. Barney has been involved with all pony club activities including mounted games, mini camp, mini cross country, lessons and jumping with my daughter from being age 5. He has competed on the mini mounted games for 2 seasons on the lead and did wetherby weekend this year off the lead in the junior team and did great. Totally unfazed with a busy environment and does not get silly or excitable, he's very happy to stand on the line and just wait his turn and knows the equipment. When at shows he just stands patiently and nods off. He will ride and lead and is responsive to voice commands which is great for teaching little ones to canter on the lead. A shout of whoa quickly brings him back to walk! We've stayed away at shows and he is happy to be corralled in an pen and will not stress if left on his own, he just enjoys being out and having a job to do. He can be a bit grumpy to handle and will pull the odd face. He will live out with a shelter or come in at night and he is happy with both. He is very clean in the stable and will poo in a bucket at the back! He can be left for weeks and then ridden and he is exactly the same, just steady away. Very sad sale of Pandora who is a 7 year old Welsh Section a Pony that has been a part of our family for two years. She was bought for my little girl to do lead rein showing originally as she is so pretty but my little girl is ready to come off lead rein and Pandora is too forward going for her. Pandora would make a fab second pony or lead rein m&m. She thrives on work and loves to jump. She has completed a cross country course with a bigger person on her where she was in her element!!!! Pandora or Pandy as we call her is currently in a riding school being ridden by the older kids where she is in group lessons and doing what is expected of her. She can try and be cheeky but once reminded will do what is expected of her. We have taken her out on the road on the lead rein and she is happy to follow another horse and hasn't been phased by any of the surroundings. Only reasoning selling is purely because my little girl finds her too forward going, she needs something older to build her confidence off the lead. Minnie is a stunning 10.3hh (I haven't measured her) Welsh section A. 4 years old. She has been the perfect lead rein pony for my daughters partners 3 year old. Minnie is bombproof. Poppy is a 14 year old fully registered Welsh Section A. I got her as a companion for my daughter in laws Cob mare but she is selling her now so Poppy will be alone.
