I am looking for someone who would like to ride my 14HH pony twice a week. He is 22 years old but don't be put off by that as he has lots of energy. He is stabled and kept in Pinkneys Green in Maidenhead. He is lovely to hack and can be ridden in the school but he prefers hacking. He would suit an older rider who just wants something completely safe and reliable to enjoy twice a week or he would suit a younger rider with an experienced mum who wants a pony that has been there and done that and is a little school master. Where he is stabled there are other people to ride out with. He can jump but his height limit due to his age is about 60cm and he doesn't want to be doing too much every week. 14hh Bay Gelding 18 Year Old Pony For Sale in Colchester

Our adorable pony is well schooled, has great paces is easy to ride and is for sale due to being outgrown by my daughter. He has many years left in him and looks amazing. He really is up for anything, he is excellent in the heaviest of traffic including lorries, double deckers, combine harvesters, skip lorries etc. He hacks alone perfectly either by himself or with company, he competes regularly and does well in Working Hunter Classes, Showing, Xcountry, Showjumping, Dressage, Hunter trials, Long Distant rides, ODE and has been attending PC for the last three years including rallies and 4 day camp and area dressage. Currently jumping any height up to 2'6" maximum. Happy to go through water. Happy to be first or last. He will stand tied up to a trailor all day or can be happily left inside a trailor at shows. He always does well at shows and in the ribbons. Happy to be ridden bareback. He is excellent to catch, trim, pulling mane, bath, lunge, load, clip, worm, farrier and is up to date with worming, teeth, vaccinations and back. He does not barge and is happy to be sprayed with flyspray etc. Lives in or out alone or in company with mares or geldings. Happy to be in a stable on straw or shavings. Happy to have dry or wet hay. He has front shoes on every 5-6 weeks to keep his toes short. Has not lost a shoe since we have owned him. Excellent with electric fencing. He does not particularly like his girth being done up but if you speak to him before you do it he is usually fine. Brilliant with sheep chickens dogs etc. He is looking for a confident lightweight adult / child / teenager to enjoy his fun loving, cheeky character. I have also ridden him but I am too heavy. I am 5'6" and easily suits my height as he is a hunter type. His breeding is unknown. He can be a novice ride on the lead rein as my Daughter started off on the lead rein with him but would not suit a total novice off the read rein as he can be a bit cheeky and put in the odd titchy little buck which is easy to sit and not nasty in anyway (he would not do this with an adult or teenager). He is very happy to adapt to the level of any rider. He has been part of our life for 3 years and the previous owner for 10years (we still keep in contact with them). Have loads of photos and videos. I am genuinely an honest person and keep in contact with our last pony that we sold three years ago and would like to do the same with whoever buys our lovely Brambles. He comes with a very good quality snaffle bridle, saddle, rugs etc. He has slight arthritis in his near fore foot but does not normally need any treatment and this does not affect him. He would also be perfect for a mother / daughter share or an adult who wants to have fun hacking and having a go at anything as he can carry up to stone. Gorgeous 14hh New Forest gelding for sale

A gorgeous 14hh New Forest 10 yr old gelding. A friendly, loving pony with lots of character. He is keen to please in every way. Blue has done very basic schooling and has hacked out alone and in company. He has great paces and a super temperament, very light and easy to ride with lots of scope. Easy to catch, shoe etc.. 14hh Cob X gelding - PC pony, mother daughter share in

For sale through no fault of his own is my 14hh cob x gelding. I bought bobby as a yearling and he is now 8 years old. He has been produced at home but sadly through lack of time and interest has been turned away for the last 12 months. He is to be sold from the field so will make a fantastic project for somebody. Bobby when left natural presents as a brilliant native breed. Through more recent years he has been clipped and hogged. He is a nice quick little pony with a nice little pop who will do most of his work off voice commands alone. He is not a novice ride as he can be a bit strong but would make a fantastic second pony or a PC pony. He hasn't done a lot in terms of showing as has been predominantly used as a happy hack. He is a good low mileage project. He is good to shoe, clip, load etc although he does prefer to travel in company. He has hacked alone in the past but his confidence will need bringing on as he can still be rather green. He will happily live out all year round or will be stabled. He is a good doer so is a nice cheap chap to keep. Any potential buyer is welcome to come and view him but as he is being sold from the field, riding him may not be possible. I have two horses looking for share. Both are 13 years, 17 hand Clydesdale mare. She is a very safe hack, alone or in company with a forward going and fun if you want it, or slow ride. She is not heavy in the hand and responsive to the leg. Suitable for a rider who is not a complete novice and confidence giver. Weight limit stone. Also 15 hand gypsy cob gelding, good to hack, but requires good rider as can be sharp and occasionally spook. He is a superb schoolmaster great for lessons in dressage and jumping but not novice rider unless supervised as can be sharp. Weight limit 14 stone. Gorgeous 15.2hh Bay Cob Gelding

Sonny is a gorgeous and eye catching 15.2hh (and still growing!) rising 4 year old bay cob gelding. He has an excellent confirmation and would excel in the show ring, or as a happy hacker or driving horse. He has a lovely cuddly personality and loves human attention. He will stand for hours to be fussed and groomed alone or in company and is the first to plod over for attention in the field. I bought Sonny as a project a year and a half ago, and he ended up staying with me a lot longer than planned as he’s such a lovely boy! I have ummed and arred for a while now on whether to sell him, but after being unable to find a sharer and coming to terms with the reality of how I really do not have time to ride two horses, or the facilities to bring him onto his full potential (no school) I have come the decision to sell him on. He loads first time ever time, is excellent for my trimmer and has some of the best feet she has seen so won’t ever need shoes. He is excellent to be tacked up, have his feet picked out, stands for the vet and dentist (no sedation needed) and although he hasn’t been clipped I have rubbed clippers all over him and he couldn’t care less. He lives out 24/7 all year round, unrugged (although he does wear a fly sheet in horse fly season), in a herd environment, and I would like him to go somewhere where they will continue to keep him this way. I backed Sonny at the end of the summer using a mixture of natural horsemanship and traditional methods, and have been bringing him on slowly since so he is only for sale to an experienced home who can continue his education. Sonny is ridden bitless but can be bitted, and is happy to walk and trot with a rider, and excellent to hack out in company. He has already been boxed out to the local woods with my other horse for a hack where he saw lots of screaming children, dogs, cars, people, ice cream vans and took it all in his stride. I do hack him out alone, but he can be a bit nervous due to his age, which I am sure will get better with more time and experience. I think he would excel as a happy hacker, a show cob or a driving horse. He is not forward going, but is straight off of your leg so I wouldn’t class him as a plod either – he is a happy medium! That being said, I could easily see him becoming a kick along in the wrong hands if nagged with the leg by an incompetent rider, hence why I will not sell to a novice rider or owner. His new home is very important to me and I do not want him bought as a project and sold on further. He really craves human attention and I really want him now to go onto a one on one home where he will be loved and fussed and given lots of attention. His new home will be vetted and I want the new owner to stay in touch and send me lots of updates and pictures. Gorgeous 14.2hh bay gelding in Auchterarder

Due to very unforseen family circumstances.. I am having to rehome this gorgeous boy. Great to catch, box, farrier etc. He has been recently wormed and had his teeth done. Lives with mares and other geldings. He has been used for trotting racing by previous owners, but has been a family pet with us. My inexperienced 12yr old rides him as he is so good. Has not done much work this year so needs bringing back into full fitness. A 5 star home is a must for this gentle loving boy.
