17 WEEK OLD cayuga x khaki campbell ducks and drakes, 3

3 ducks due to start laying at anytime and 4 drakes still young enough to be introduced to another female or kept as a pair with 1 of ours. Dad is a pure Cayuga and mum a pure bred khaki Campbell their breed is ideal for back gardens because they don't require a constant water supply just fresh drinking water available near their feed. A few times a week they will need a wash a suitable sized tub or bucket of fresh water is sufficient enough. They were incubator bred and handled often this has helped them to become more docile they will also eat from your hand when they've settled and used to you. We have 3 ducks 2 brown and 1 black with a touch of white under her beak the drakes are all the same colour of brown with the striking emerald green heads and curl to their waddle the ducks are due to start laying at anytime they are all going through their first "malt" with that and the bad weather they do look a bit scruffy but nothing a good wash wont sort. we know the 4 drakes will be less popular but please don't dismiss them because they are good company for the females by having 2 ducks and 1 drake of a different breed in our garden its been proved they are good company if not being used for breeding the 2 girls were shy and quiet when they were on their own when we introduced the drake it changed the 2 girls completely. Last trio of 2 ducks and one drake - available now. We are hobbyist breeders of rare, and pure breed ducks and rare breed chickens. We currently have some pure breed Khaki Campbell ducks for sale, they have just started laying. Ducks make great garden pets foraging for food eating slugs and snails, chasing off flys and gnats. Khaki Campbells are renowned as prolific egg layers and can lay more than 300 eggs a year, which is actually more than chickens. Their eggs are larger than chicken eggs and have a creamy and rich flavour with large yolks, perfect to use for baking cakes. These ducks make great pets, they are highly comical and will give you hours of enjoyment, as these are pure breeds they would also be ideal for breeding. Any questions are welcome.
