Traditonal Narrowboat engine ???
if you are in search of a truly traditional engine for your working narrow boat or perhaps a restoration project or even for a museum, I have a fully restored 2 cylinder traditional air cooled Armstrong Siddley for which I will be uploading pictures during the next few days, and so if you are already familiar with this type of engine then you will already know how rare these are to find in pristine condition a complete and comprehensive overhaul costing around £,(receipts to show) this work has been carried out during the last 4 /5 years and there is a genuine reason for selling it,= poor health means an abandoned project which is unlikely to get completed by its present owner there is a very good chance that I could supply a Newage/PRM.140 or 160,this would not only give you a "drop down" about 3-1/2 ins to line up with the prop shaft and also you would have modern gearbox for which parts are readily available and would be easy to operate with a Morse control cable,, so watch this space, for a trial run or demonstration or-for any more information then just call or message me at almost any time x 7days. this engine is available to view at Northwich, Cheshire,CW8, please call first to arrange a demonstration or trial run, delivery is available nation wide by consultation, NOW advertised on E bay =sensible offers may be considered, its now on e bay until the end of July Read more
