This traditional ridge tent, sold by 'The Scout Shop' and called 'The Tourer', has an inner tent for 2-3 persons with a tough sewn in groundsheet, and a cooking and storage area at the entrance. It has a proofed cotton outer and a nylon inner, and it is supported on 3 alloy A poles, and steel ridge poles. It is stable in wind and the skirt keeps out the draught from the cooking area at the front. Because of the cotton outer, it does not suffer from much condensation It is in quite good condition, and although it has not been used for some time, it has been stored in a dry area in the house. This tent has only been used 3 times, in excellent condition, does not need waterproofing, and it comes with detachable porch,(the porch alone cost us over £) although the tent has a built in porch anyway, the extra detachable porch adds more room. The tent has its own built in ground sheet. We also have two cupboard larders/storage units, stove complete with its own stand. Fold up chairs and table. Basically everything you need to go camping. Vango Diablo 400. Great family tent - sleeps 4 very comfortably with big living and storage spaces.

This is the best tent I have ever owned. It has a fantastic design - cosy and spacious at the same time, with sewn in groundsheet throughout the main body of the tent; in both bedrooms and the main living area. It is sturdy and I have rarely felt the need to peg out all the guy ropes because the tent's structure is solid. It is billed as a 4 man tent and each of the sleeping areas easily fits a double air mattress. The tent would accommodate more than this - I have had 3 or 4 small children in one of the sleeping areas and of course the large living area could be used for sleeping too. You can read more about the tent and other reviews on the UK campsite website - I was interested to see the shared enthusiasm other tent owners have for this tent. I am reluctant to part with it, but no longer need a family sized tent. It has a couple of patches as you'd expect from a used tent but nothing that causes ongoing problems.
