For sale stunning ride and drive traditional show quality blue roan gelding 14 hh with 10 inch of bone excellent conformation (true to type) with masses of silky mane tail and father. Percy has very elevated paces and is very forward off the leg (not your typical ploddy cob) so is NOT SUITABLE for a NOVICE, he likes to get on with his work! And can be strong!! ! I feel percy would excel in a showing home, percy has done a lot of driving in the past but would need bringing back as he hasn't been driven in over a year, he is currently just being ridden once a week to keep him ticking over. He will school and has done some basic dressage moves and he floats over trotting Pole's and will pop a cross pole but is not really a jumper! ? *Polly* 11.2hh 12 year old ride and drive mare. Polly is the dream pony, with manners to die for. She is a great driving pony, however she is very forward going and loves to get on with her work. She hasn’t been ridden a lot with us due to lack of jockey, but has been out hunting with the Highmoor Bloodhounds. She really is a lover of work but is equally happy to be groomed and pampered all day long! Picture is of my little driving shetland mare who is 26 years old Last year she lost her long standing equine companion who lived to be 36 years old. She is now retired from driving. Despite her advancing years she still has a quick turn of foot when she thinks there is food arriving! I am now looking for another ride and drive small pony up to a maximum of 18 years old.
