Beautiful boy, sadly for sale through no fault of his own (bought for non-horsey husband who has since lost interest). Fabulous show jumping bloodlines including Ladykiller, BSJA points and a lovely scopey jump. Has hunted and would make a brilliant gentlemans hunter for the winter, showjumper in the spring/summer. Easy to do, good manners on the ground, stands like a rock to be mounted and not strong or silly in the school. Prefers to hack in company although I have hacked him successfully around our village by himself on many occasions, will spook at silly things (leg yields around drain covers) fine with cars and traffic passing him. 16.1hh TB chestnut gelding 7yo

Lovely calm TB gelding. Over the past 6 weeks or so he has been worked and has come on so much! Last time I advertised him he wasn't doing much at all. He's a sweet natured boy who is a dream to handle on the end of a rope! Easy to catch, shoe, load travel etc. He has had time off last summer for his feet to recover and they are now perfect! He also had ulcer treatment and is in perfect health. His only problem is he can be a bit riggy with the mares! He needs to be in an all gelding field/yard. Separate fields would work, and tbh rig calm did help when I put him on it before. This riggy behaviour means he can nap if taken out alone, fine in company. And if I take my mare away from him he gets upset. With my mare out of the equation he was a lamb. He's been doing a little bit of jumping and some schooling and has come on so much in 6 weeks. Gerry has been with us since last October, he's showing a lot of talent in jumping (has jumped up to 1m) and has nice and steady paces. He's been to two local riding club shows earlier this month and behaved impeccably and enjoyed himself very much. On the ground he is a very friendly and sweet horse who loves attention and a fuss. Sadly since he's been to the shows his behaviour has become quite bad, he is challenging authority and has reared twice now when being led (with a week of good behaviour in between). We're not sure where this is coming from, he's always been head strong but never reared. He's also become difficult to load. I've had him for 2 years and now I am selling as I can no longer give him the time and attention he needs due to work and family commitments.
