Benhill martell or Martie as he is know at home is a 6 year old flashy bay gelding with 4 white Socks. We bought Martie for my 7 year old niece but he is a waste as she has a dartmoor too, and this is who most of her time is spent with. We have done first ridden with Martie, however before we got him he did working hunter, show jumping, cross country, farm rides. We feel that he would excel at working hunter and is a definite hoys contender. He is however quality enough to do the open ridden and junior ridden a too. He is safe for my young niece or will rise to the occasion with an older jockey.
