Benhill martell or Martie as he is know at home is a 6 year old flashy bay gelding with 4 white Socks. We bought Martie for my 7 year old niece but he is a waste as she has a dartmoor too, and this is who most of her time is spent with. We have done first ridden with Martie, however before we got him he did working hunter, show jumping, cross country, farm rides. We feel that he would excel at working hunter and is a definite hoys contender. He is however quality enough to do the open ridden and junior ridden a too. He is safe for my young niece or will rise to the occasion with an older jockey. ??JAKE?? hh Registered Welsh section D Chocolate Dun 7yo Gelding Lovely sweet natured affectionate chap, excellent to catch and deal with. Good to load,travel,bath,farrier etc. Lives in or out but currently living out. Jake is quiet to ride but for his age he is low mileage and green. He doesn’t buck,bronc or rear etc, he’s just babyish. Will hack alone and in company and hasn’t been phased by any traffic we have seen, he does look at the odd thing when in new surroundings but what horse doesn’t?! Never does anything major, just has a look, if something startles him the worst he does is a startled ‘jump’ and stand still. Never tried to bolt or spin. He’s a gentle chap and just needs some extra miles on the clock. To school jake is green, he will walk trot and canter but does need schooling on. He carries himself nicely and is a real head turner! ****** FANTASTIC LEAD REIN PONY IN THE MAKING ***** With a very heavy heart price is being offered for sale as I no longer have the time to dedicate to him along with my daughters tho absolute no fault of his own. He is 5 years old, dappe grey with 4 white socks. 11.2hh. Fully registered with the wpcs green papers/passport. He has been mouthed, long reined and backed although still green and has only been used as lead rein due to my daughters only being 5 them selves. He will happily have them on his back in full tack, walk and trot without a problem. He hasn't been ridden by my daughters alot in the passed year due to my self being pregnant but my sister has been on him in the last couple of months just giving him basics to keep him going ! My daughters absolutely adore him and will groom and cuddle him until the cows come home ! He's a perfect gent for them. Not a problem to catch, groom, trim feet, wash, worm,rug, load and up until I was pregnant he has been fully clipped each year since I have owned him and is a dream to do !! Unfortunately I just don't have the time to give him and my daughter the time they deserve together and he's being wasted as a field ornament due to their new sister !. I have had him since he was 3 and honestly don't want to part with him. He currently is currently turned out with mares and a gelding and has no issues at all, he is stabled over night and at the minute un-rugged.
