Lovely 17" wide black wintec saddle in excellent used condition with four girth straps and xxw lilac gullet (also selling white wide gullet) Saddle was used for my Welsh section D, who after trying several saddles on her this one fitted perfectly, I found this to be the only saddle that had a wide enough gullet width throughout the whole saddle that did not rub on her spine. It also benefits on having the 4 girth straps (all in excellent condition) which helps secure saddle on flat backed horses. In really smart condition a Black 18" Thorowgood T4 Cob saddle is hard to find as its so wide its 12" D to D so is ideal for flat back cobs or other native breds I haven't seen one this wide before it features four girth straps for a better fit on Rounder pony/horses these are in as new condition it also features the fish system which alters the width of the head it will come with one pair of fish, Thanks:)

Thorowgood T8 Cob GP saddle black 17.5" XW/XXW

Brought this saddle for young horse who was growing and changing shape approximately a year and a half ago. Purchased as it was adjustable, but he has now levelled off and I'm buying a dressage saddle as this is the direction we are moving towards. Thorowgood advertise this saddle as a good all-round saddle for the rounder build and the low withered Cob-type horse. It has a medium depth seat is ideal for a range of riding activities and offers 4 girthing options to achieve maximum saddle stability. Synthetic underneath but has a quality leather seat and knee pads and gives the feel of riding on an all leather saddle. It is also flocked with 100% British wool. The saddle current is set with the yellow S bar gullet plate which equates to XW/XXW. I also have the white gullet plate - XW and the red gullet plate - W. The saddle has a small scuff on the pommel (see image), but other than that is in excellent condition. RRP £625 Will post at buyers expense and am open to sensible offers. Read More
