Thorowgood T4 cob GP 17.5"

This is one of the original cob T4 saddles made by Thorowgood. It has been completely re-flocked. Sadly my mare was put down so I have no use for it and having a clear out. It is a wide, very comfortable saddle. 17.5" and measures 9'5" between the D rings. It does not have a changeable gullet. Throwgood Maxam Cob Saddle best suited to wider barrel hard to fit type horses.  This is a wide saddle with flat panels and has three girth straps and a fourth point strap for extra security against movement on flat backed cobs or wider horses.  I am only selling as I no longer have the horse I used for this saddle on. Please note that this is not a gullet changing saddle it is a fixed gullet and is stamped as extra wide 17". Purchased as it was adjustable, but he has now levelled off and I'm buying a dressage saddle as this is the direction we are moving towards. Thorowgood advertise this saddle as a good all-round saddle for the rounder build and the low withered Cob-type horse. It has a medium depth seat is ideal for a range of riding activities and offers 4 girthing options to achieve maximum saddle stability. Synthetic underneath but has a quality leather seat and knee pads and gives the feel of riding on an all leather saddle. It is also flocked with 100% British wool. The saddle current is set with the yellow S bar gullet plate which equates to XW/XXW. I also have the white gullet plate - XW and the red gullet plate - W.
