Sprayway Valley 4 Tent plus Carpet and additional Front Canopy This is a great tent in great condition having had little use - I no longer require it as I have gone over to the polycotton side! Officially a 4 berth tent but, as usual, more suited to three adults or a couple with or without one or two little ones in tow. Plenty of headroom throughout 195cm at the lowest point (bedroom), 210cm at the front! Actual tent size (L,W,H) = approx 4.8m x 3.1m x 2.1m This is a very solidly built steel framed tunnel type tent that can withstand a lot of weathering! Proofing (HH) to mm The tent within a tent design provides comfort and security. The inner bedroom is spacious with a tie back divider. A fairly unique feature is the wardrobe area which is a full height compartment accessible from the sleeping area which comes complete with hanging pole for clothes hangers! In front of the sleeping area is an enclosed living area (which could also used as an additional bedroom), complete with carpet. In front of that is the porch area which is easily wide enough for storage and to take your shoes off. There is a really wide front opening with overhang to protect from the rain, along with an additional side entrance with overhang to, once again, protect against the rain. Included is a Front Canopy to further extend the living area for seating / cooking etc. - I have borrowed a picture with canopy from online as I can't find one of mine with canopy up! The tent is bagged in a fold over 2 sided bag which holds the main flysheet on one side and the inner tent on the other - very easy to carry / pack / unpack; the poles / pegs are in their own bag. A set of instructions are included and all poles are colour coded for ease and erected outer first then inner. The canopy is complete (flysheet +poles) in one bag. As I mentioned this is a solidly built tent - which is great when you want to withstand the great British weather but it does come at a price - weight! The tent poles weigh in at around 18Kg, the canopy inc poles at 15Kg and the tent plus carpet at around 14Kg. Inside on a rainy day was pleasant with the curtains open. The carpet fits in the lounge area. The bedroom can be divided into two or used as one big room. There are two doors, both with fly screens, one door has a porch over it to keep the rain from dripping in. The EHU entry is below this door. It can be pitched by one person, the inner and the outer/ fly sheet are pitched as one, it took me about half an hour to pitch on my own. The separate front canopy has two steel poles, I am not sure of the length, It makes a nice addition to the tent, it is almost as long as the tent and it has two windows at the front. An adult can stand up straight in this tent and canopy, no need to bend. Tent: L 350 x W 260 x H 183 Bedroom: L 210 x W 240 x H 175 Two bedrooms, or unzip divider for one bedroom. Says will take four people, but two is more realistic. The bedroom doors have a mesh panel at the top with a zip up curtain. Front living area has one window with a mesh bit at the top and an external curtain Electric EHU entry is below this window. There is a side door and a front door, both can be put onto poles to make a canopy. There are two windows either side of the front door with internal curtains.
