WW2 British Army Ridge Tent

This is a WW2 British Army ridge tent . It measures: 9ft long to the point at the back, 6ft wide, 6ft high, and the wall is 2ft 6inches. There is stencilled writing on both sides: BAHRAT (India) TW, , CX/P, B arrow on one side, IDEAL TRADING, BOMBAY H6 P, BD ARROW 16 on the other. The canvas is in good condition other than two small holes where a mouse got at it before I got to the mouse. The poles are original one of which has a slight curve and a couple of the locking metal cleats are missing. There are a selection of pegs some of which are wooden and could be original. Some of the guy ropes have no adjusters and some could do with extra stitching to the canvas. One of the pole locating holes on the ridge has been repaired. Large traditional-style canvas ridge tent, with rounded end, zipped front and integral plastic ground sheet; internal dimensions approx. 2.9 metres (9 feet 6 inches) long (including the rounded end) and 1.9 metres (6 feet 3 inches) wide; internal height to ridge approx 1.83 metres (6 feet). Would make a great childrens’ play tent. There are no holes, tears or repairs in the canvas or the groundsheet and all guy ropes are present, with metal stakes included. The zips on the front are all in good condition. Comes in its canvas carrying bag. The tent hasn’t been used for a number of years so we cannot guarantee that it is still completely waterproof - it will probably need re-proofing. The groundsheet originally had retaining loops for pinning it to the ground but these are all now absent, otherwise we're not aware of any faults. Cabanon Isabelle Cotton Canvas Ridge Tent

I have for sale a lovely example of a Cabanon Isabelle cotton canvas tent. If you are like me and prefer the quality and materials of traditional camping, then you’re likely to love the Isabelle. This one really is in first class condition and has always been stored and packed away completely dry. The outer canvas has maintained it’s rich green colour without fading. There might be the odd mark from birds flying over but this is minimal and best left to the rain to deal with. It is a nice ridge pole design using a full cotton inner tent with mesh ventilation door, supported by 3 steel legs. This is good because it means the entrance uses an ‘A’ frame, allowing the door to be kept clear of a central pole. The cotton inner has a bath tub style sewn in groundsheet which is very waterproof and helps to keep the insects out. I have pitched this on top of another groundsheet which I recommend to help keep the sewn in groundsheet protected and clean. The tent allows the option of zipping on a front extension plus a zip on bell end (both included) so there are various configurations possible. If for instance you wished to use it for a weekend camp and arrived late, the main tent section could be put up with the zip on bell, then the extension could be put up the following morning if required. The extension includes vertical poles and guy lines that allow a side to be raised and used as a sun canopy in hotter weather. The Isabelle’s are relatively rare in the UK although I have seen a couple listed during . This one has only had 3-4 weeks of use during its lifetime so everything is in super condition. Vango Maritsa 600 Large Family Tent - Good Solid Quality Tent in Very Good Condition

Vango Maritsa 600 tent- 6 man large family tent in very good condition. Always been packed away dry and cleaned before packing, and stored in dry clean under stairs cupboard. Selling only because I'm not getting any younger and chose to go 'Airbeam'. It has versatile bedroom config, separate living area and porch with good height. The steel poles give a sturdy camping experience even in British weather. We've experienced very strong winds in this tent and not had any problems whilst camping in it. It really is in very good condition and will no doubt give someone many years more camping in space and comfort. The Vango Maritsa 600 footprint ground sheet and Vango made to measure carpet (in the large lounge area) are included in the price. The mobile phone is not included and is to show scale of size only. Only used once a year for the past few years so excellent condition. Moss green in colour. Plenty of information on this tent available if Googled. It gets an review score on the ukcampsite-co-uk website, and will be a real bargain for the buyer. The YouTube video link demonstrates the Maritsa 700 (very slightly larger version of the 600) but they are very similar. Relum 6 berth canvas frame tent, great condition and good quality. £130.

It has not been used for some time hence lack of pictures. Relum had a good reputation for making high quality tents. If you pick a good day we can unpack it and you can look at it in my garden. The tent and bedrooms have been stored in the house to protect the fabric, the poles in the garage.

This tent is in good condition - having only been used about 10 times. There are two separate bedrooms and a "living area" in front of the bedrooms. Comes with inner linings, curtains etc. There is a separate ground sheet for the living area which is included in the sale.
