'Arla' has been owned by me since a yearling. She is 3yrs old on . Her dam is a quality registered Welsh mare with Eppynt and Revel lines. Her sire is a 16hh appaloosa x TB stallion by the famous 'Champagne Charlie' and 'Amazing Blue' Arla has an amazing temperament, loves people and other horses. Not marish. She comes to call in the field, picks feet up regularly, stands tied, had rugs, tack, hi-viz, boots etc. She doesn't like the scary measuring stick quite yet, tho' will happily have small children run around and sit on her! She has had many walks in hand out on country roads / woodlands alone and in company. She has been introduced to coloured poles in the school and walks over them happily. She is good with traffic, the farrier, dentist, children and dogs. She also does a trick and trots on voice command. She does load but likes to think about it first! But this is only because she has only ever been on a horsebox twice with me leading her (a rusty novice owner!) 16.2hh Welsh D x TB 20yr old brown gelding who has given me the confidence to go from the occasional hack to competing up to 70 cm and has also taken me out hunting for the first time. He is normally ridden 3-5 times a week but is still sensible if left for a week or two. Happy to go for a 30 min wander around the block but he also enjoys a 2-3 hour faster hack. Has jumped both coloured and xc fences however he no longer enjoys doing this. Happy to live in or out with mares and geldings and is fine left on his own for short periods. I bought Missy in February as a small project for myself as she was very green and needed bringing on a little. Due to having a three year old who competes and studying I haven't been able to put my full attention onto her and feel she is being wasted with me. Missy has three lovely paces and is never strong. She has proven to be capable jumper over the past year. She needs some time putting into her fitness levels currently but will excel in anything she is put to in the future. She is snaffle mouthed but needs a confident rider to push her as she can be a little scared and babyish, due to lack of experience and work. Hacks better in company, again with work and time hacking alone wouldn't be a problem. Missy will be best suited to a teen/small adult looking to have fun with pony club activities who has the time to put some effort into her. She is good to do in all ways with no vices. Currently has fronts shod and is good with the farrier and dentist. She has never been clipped so this something that would be to be introduced.
