Alfie 15.2hh Fresian x TB between 5-7years old Dark brown/black Alfie is for sale as a project as he was advertised as a riding and quiet and was only unsuitable for novices because he was earshy but unfortunately that was not true. Alfie's good points: He is a beautiful boy with lovely paces, as seen through lunging. He can be very gentle in the stable and loves a cuddle Loves to be groomed and pampered Has great prospect with the right home He is a lovely character and really wants to try and please and be gentle Alfies riding history: When viewing Alfie, excuses were made about a saddle not being available and so on, so I did not see him ridden. But I was shown pictures and a very short video. When trying to ride him at current yard, he wouldn't stand at the mountain block and when getting on, I was barely in the saddle before he bolted off and bronced me off. This happened another time before I got a second opinion and it was found that at the time he had sore back but since then he has had his teeth, back, tack and feet checked and he is sound. I haven't however tried to ride him as he has shattered my confidence. Other information: Alfie can be very strong and will take advantage sometimes. He is very spooky and wary of his surroundings. He has seperation anxiety and will act up if left alone in a field or if he can not see other horses. Alfie needs an experienced, knowledgeable, forever home with someone who can give him the time, patience and dedication to take him right back to basics. It was thought that the problems that Alfie has, has been through his previous homes. Since being injured from being thrown off and just not having the knowledge, I cannot give him the home he needs. Troy (Lucky Zulu) is a 16.1 TB x Cob Bay gelding. He has hunted with the Southern Shires Bloodhounds, where he looked after me on my first hunt. I believe he has also hunted on the new forest with a previous owner. Troy loves cross country and is very honest with a big, bold jump. He is also great through water. He has taken part in hunter trials with a previous owner. Troy has also taken part in lots of different riding club activities including adult/pony club camp, sponsored rides, fancy dress rides, showjumping competitions, ODE and pub rides. He is great to hack in company, which he prefers, but will hack alone with a competent rider. I would say that he is not a novice ride,however,as can have the odd spook. Troy is good with the farrier, dentist, vet and to load. He will also stand for hours to be clipped or groomed as he loves attention and a fuss made of him. 17.2 TB X Gelding. Henry is 100% in every way and a truly genuine horse. He's sadly for sale through entirely no fault of his own but due to a lack of time from work commitments so a 5* home is essential. I've had Henry since he was 6 years old and he has had a go at everything. He has done Showjumping (up to 1.30m at home), Hunting, Dressage and Cross country and is nearly always placed when competing. Although he's not a Novice ride he is eager to please and always comes out the same whether ridden daily or weekly.
