Blackice is at least 15.2hh. 8 years old gelding. Iv had him from a 3 year old. Due to my back problems he hasn't done much except hack out. He is a complete gentleman in and out of stable. Easy to handle,loves attention. Not spooky. He is not a novice ride due to the fact he is needing schooling on to any discipline,he has a lot of speed and power so would not suit a beginner. He would make a great riding club all rounder or a super show / dressage cob. His paces are big and free. We will be working with him until he finds the right home. No health issues. Troy (Lucky Zulu) is a 16.1 TB x Cob Bay gelding. He has hunted with the Southern Shires Bloodhounds, where he looked after me on my first hunt. I believe he has also hunted on the new forest with a previous owner. Troy loves cross country and is very honest with a big, bold jump. He is also great through water. He has taken part in hunter trials with a previous owner. Troy has also taken part in lots of different riding club activities including adult/pony club camp, sponsored rides, fancy dress rides, showjumping competitions, ODE and pub rides. He is great to hack in company, which he prefers, but will hack alone with a competent rider. I would say that he is not a novice ride,however,as can have the odd spook. Troy is good with the farrier, dentist, vet and to load. He will also stand for hours to be clipped or groomed as he loves attention and a fuss made of him. Alfie 15.2hh Fresian x TB between 5-7years old Dark brown/black Alfie is for sale as a project as he was advertised as a riding and quiet and was only unsuitable for novices because he was earshy but unfortunately that was not true. Alfie's good points: He is a beautiful boy with lovely paces, as seen through lunging. He can be very gentle in the stable and loves a cuddle Loves to be groomed and pampered Has great prospect with the right home He is a lovely character and really wants to try and please and be gentle Alfies riding history: When viewing Alfie, excuses were made about a saddle not being available and so on, so I did not see him ridden. But I was shown pictures and a very short video. When trying to ride him at current yard, he wouldn't stand at the mountain block and when getting on, I was barely in the saddle before he bolted off and bronced me off. This happened another time before I got a second opinion and it was found that at the time he had sore back but since then he has had his teeth, back, tack and feet checked and he is sound. I haven't however tried to ride him as he has shattered my confidence. Other information: Alfie can be very strong and will take advantage sometimes. He is very spooky and wary of his surroundings. He has seperation anxiety and will act up if left alone in a field or if he can not see other horses. Alfie needs an experienced, knowledgeable, forever home with someone who can give him the time, patience and dedication to take him right back to basics. It was thought that the problems that Alfie has, has been through his previous homes. Since being injured from being thrown off and just not having the knowledge, I cannot give him the home he needs. Megan is a lovely 7 yr old (technically 8 this year but was foaled in September) 15.1hh TB X COB. I bought her as a ridden companion for my baby whilst she was away on holiday but she is about to come back in to work, she's a lovely horse she is always perfect to handle on the ground babies can go and cuddle her in the field and she loves it, she is good to ride but i would say she would suit a lad or a girl/adult who is strong minded and experienced as she will occasionally throw in a buck (being honest) and if she is allowed to get away with it she will try. She has never done this with my partner though. She jumps 3ft with ease. She will make a cracking little show jumper!! She will school on the flat but it does need some work, she's good to hack nothing fazes her she will happily stand by the train track waiting for the train no problem. Up to date with her jabs. She is not a novice ride not at all! And will not be sold to anyone who is going to pass her around or I feel are novices. She is sold from the field hence the very low price for what she is as we do not have the time for her to come into work fully. Videos available on request
