I am reluctantly selling my 16 year old Tb mare due to lack of time. She is a very safe horse that would be ideal for a mainly hacking home. Never bucks, rears or bolts and is always ridden in a snaffle. She is great all rounder horse for low level rider, but would definitely suit a mature person who mainly wants to hack out with friends. Great with all traffic, farm machinery and animals. Great with kids. As she is a Tb she is very forward going so not for a novice. I am looking for a 5* forever home for her, as she is very special to me, and I need to be certain that she will be loved and cared for. Homes will be vetted prior to sale. Her only downfall is that she can get stressed if left alone in a field or stables. Does need to have other horsey companions. Ray is fully vaccinated passport.recently had back checked and had teeth done in November. Iv had ray since August . I brought him to go out and compete but his only fault is loading iv spent hours practicing to the point he goes on on his own.i took him over cannock chase and he was a star i came to put him on a week later back to square one he is not intrested he travels great it just getting on. I have been told he loads better on a trailer but I'm not in a position to just buy a trailer or a towing vehicle.If I didn't have the other 2 I would keep him and get another one to compete. He hacks alone or in company I do find him better on his own or with a sensible horse or horses. As a girls pony bolted home and he just jogged.he's Great in open fields. Very pretty bay TB mare, hh 13 years old (14 in March of this year), Weatherby's stamped passport. Rosie is a lovely natured TB mare, very easy to do - excellent to clip, shoe, load, travel. She is great to hack on own or in company, will go in front or behind - not typical silly TB, will stay behind when going faster and is not strong (currently ridden in a French link snaffle and running martingale). Will hack on own, will just test the new rider slightly by looking, but will go forwards with encouragement from rider but never silly with this. She has however been known to weave when left in her stable and others are taken away from her, and would suit a quieter yard with fewer horses, rather than the busy yard she is currently on. Rosie thrives on routine, and would suit somewhere where she could go out every day and come in at night. She could easily be left for a few days at a time without being ridden, and would not come out excited and fizzy, but very sensible. Tilly is approx 11 years old, she is 13.3hh and will carry up to 11 stone. She will happily carry a novice rider on hacks and be safe and responsive and not bat at eye at anything. She was broken in with a headcollar and is ridden out alone or in company in a sidepull. She has had time off to have a foal and will naturally need her confidence built again when being brought back into work. She has had a harness on and pulled a block and it didn't bother her so would probably make a nice driving pony. She has great hooves and is currently barefoot. Little miss April April is a 13.3h 9yo compact leg at each corner cob mare. She currently a ‘happy hack’ ridden by a 5ft6 adult and is 100% in all traffic, farm machinery on the yard, bikes, children with footballs, loose dogs etc. She has been mainly ridden alone but doesn't hot up in company or in open fields, she is much more woah than go! Selling as a happy hacker as she was sold to me as having a "big knee" this does not affect her in anyway and is sound. I trot her around the roads and she's always been sound. She's good in traffic and my young son has ridden her on the roads. Rue really looked after him. She would suit anyone who just wants a horse to enjoy the world with. This is Polly, she is microchipped, passported, up to date with teeth and feet. Not vaccinated, very laid back gentle mare. Doesnt act mareish at all. I had her rebacked and i had regular lessons on her until the end of october...i had lost my confidence but really wanted to ride again, but the idea of riding was better than actually riding. Since October Polly has been ridden...by experienced riders who say she is very honest, she is lacking in confidence so needs you to hold her hand so to speak, she is forward going but never nasty, she has brakes and is ridden in a snaffle. She has never spoooked with me, she just snorts! if she is out in company of other horses she is totally relaxed. On her own she looks around for monsters but doesnt do anything. She can be hard to catch but with time she gets better, i think she has been ill treated as if you have a lead rope you'll never catch her...i just take a headcollar and food! other times she'll just stand and let you catch her no bother.
