Sad sale of very pretty gelding 16h ID x TB For Sale in

I am selling my horse due to having an operation on my hand and not being able to ride him anymore. He evented over the last two years with a very good, experienced rider at 90 and 100. He was placed on several occasions. He loves being in work and is missing being ridden. Sadly due to my hand he is turned away in a field as I have no-one to ride him now as my friend moved back to Finland. Once in work he is worth much more but I am seeing if there is interest before I send him away to be worked and then sold for more. I want him to go to the right person who will accept his quirks and love the good times. He will hack happily and enjoys eventing, show jumping etc. Jabs, teeth and back all up to date. This is earlston. He is now 18 but really doesn’t act it. I have retired him now due to paralysis on the left size of his larynx which he has always had but now he is in fit it is a lot harder to bring him back into work. It could be treated by the vet but if I retire him he is wouldn’t need to as the vet said he causes no problem for him being in the field. So I’m. Selling him as a companion. 16.2hh Chestnut TB Mare, 10 years old. Graded SHBGB. Pippa is a sweet natured mare and does not fit the chestnut mare stereotype. Since being with us she has competed at dressage and a little showing with excellent results. Pippa competed in the ROR class at the Royal Welsh last year where she came a respectable 6th out of 20 plus entries. Pippa is excellent to load, clip, shoe, catch, she travels quietly in lorry or trailer and is good in traffic. Pippas only downside is that she lacks confidence when out hacking and therefore is better in company, though believe given a little time with a sympathetic rider this will be quickly overcome, unfortunately due to lack of time we havent resolved this ourselves.
