Brown show saddle made by Ray Symonds of Symonds Saddlery. 17" tree on a 17.5" Wide fit suede seat and knee rolls. Only 18 months old. Very comfortable saddle. Template from saddle maker included in photos. Note from Ray Symonds, saddle maker: the wood on this tree is set to 13" from point to point, and an 8.25" drop from the pommel to the points either side. However, this measurement is only accessible when the saddle is stripped down. Can post via courier for £25. Read more

Brought last year for my youngster who has now outgrown this saddle. This Symonds 17.5 medium width is very comfortable and although used is in excellent condition as can be seen from the photos. The padded knee rolls help to provide extra comfort and grip and I have not need to have the flocking done as it is still pliable and sits well on the horse. My youngster is a 16.3hh sports horse if that helps to gage what the saddle has been used on but as I said he is now in wide saddles.

Details about   Ray Symonds GP leather & nubuck saddle suit

I am reluctantly selling my retired mares saddle as it does not fit my other horses. It was made to measure for my 15.2hh TB who is high withered and narrow. You can see it has dropped panels to accommodate the wither area. It is in very good condition and has general scuffs that will buff out with cleaning. It is very comfortable and you feel very secure in the seat and knee areas due to the nubuck. It is flocked with white wool and the panel is even with a lovely wide gullet. There are 3 independent girth straps, the first being a point strap which I never needed to use as it fitted her so well. I think it would suit a horse with similar conformation. Tree needs to be adjusted by a Saddle Company Saddler This saddle is in very good condition and was checked over by my saddler 6 months ago. Its extremely comfy and secure to ride in and the only reason I need to sell it is that my PRE has out grown it! The tree has been adjusted to as wide as it will go and he needs wider now! The saddle has serge panels which a lot of horses prefer as they tend to be softer and warmer. Please take a good look at the photos - I will try and vacuum off as many white hairs as possible before collection or posting the saddle!
