An exceptional 13hh show pony for sale due to lack of interest from my daughter chatty is a cracking pony I had her broken early this year and my daughter has rode her also started off lead rein and was fab. She is a show pony so can be a little sharp but with the right competent rider she would really excel in the show ring. But for the last two months has not been ridden since so will be sold from the field. I do have videos of her being ridden. Nicely bred by Springfield park dot com....chestnut mare been with me since a yearling and now rising 8 years.....done lots of natural horsemanship and agility in early years and in past 2 years been out competing at riding club doing preliminary tests and jumping upto 80cms showjumping and cross country.... Safe First Horse Wanted - 13hh - 15.3hh in Newton Abbot

Looking for a second horse for my daughter to progress her riding on. She is a fairly nervous rider although competent in walk and trot if she had more confidence. I am looking for a confidence giving horse / pony for her to call her own as my Welshy is too strong for her to learn on. I am looking for either an older horse that has been outgrown and progressed on from, free to a good home or something that is LWVTB at not too much cost although if the right horse is out there price would be negotiable. Type and age is not really important to us this is about finding the right fit for my daughter. She does love her greys / spotted and prefers geldings but again its about finding the right horse for her and any horse coming to us would be loved and have a forever home. Although this is for my daughter the horse would not be moved on after a few months or a year as she is unlikely to grow anymore and I am hoping to find something that once her confidence has grown she could take to some local shows even if it is just in hand showing, again all to build her confidence up. If you have something you think is suitable and needing a second lease of life then please get in touch. We are based in Newton Abbot on a quiet yard with anything from 3 - 5 other horses so it will have company at all times. 13hh Perfect Pony

Tonto (which is Portuguese for idiot). Is an amazing little pony. He will love you unconditionally if there is food in your hand. He will roll in dirt five minutes after you groom him and he will clamp his mouth shut when he sees his bridle. However, he will take care of your child when they are on his back, he will do as your child asks especially if they have polos in their pocket. He is good with the farrier, he doesn't complain about the dentist, he will even tolerate a vet with good grace. He doesn't like the taste of wormer but will suffer it in silence. He is easier to walk than our dogs. When he is hacking out alone he will behave himself but will insist on shouting out to all the horses he passes. Hes friendly like that. In a group he suddenly thinks hes a thoroughbred, not in behaviour but his little legs will carry him as fast as they can (which is pretty fast) to keep up. Actually I am sure hes passed some retired racehorses in his time. He likes to jump but he isn't very good at it, anything bigger than a baby bounce and he feels he should go through it. When we have taken him to local shows hes behaved impeccably and usually places in the cob classes. Everyone who meets him loves him. His eight year old owner says that "Hes a teaching pony and its time that he taught someone else". I say he is a mothers dream, or would suit a small adult who wants something safe. Read more
