Details about   Antique Victorian Carved Bone Greyhound

 A lovely rare and collectable antique victorian whistle hunting riding crop/whip in the form of a carved  bone head of a Greyhound or Whippet.  The carved bone head is of good quality and finely detailed and has a whistle feature, it has a malacca cane handle and leather bound whip.  The riding crop is in an average used antique condition, consistent with its age and use, the carved bone head has a nice aged patina with good detail, one of the glass eyes has been replaced at some time in the past but this has been sympathetically done and does not detract from the overall appearance.  The leather bound whip is in a well used and badly frayed condition.  (Please see photographs as part of description). Cow Hide - Superb Orange leather New!

I have for sale several extra large, whole cow-hides. Orange only! I have unpacked & checked various hides and most are 5.5m2 plus. You can see photos of some of the size tickets. (Each hide is also size stamped on reverse.) It is a smooth grain (unembossed) soft, supple leather, rich orange colour and is rolled and packed unused in a plastic sleeve. There are hardly any holes or scars on the hides - they are top quality. I estimate them to be approx. 1.4mm thick. Ideal for upholstery, boots, bags, floor covering, wall hanging, craft purposes etc. Have already been used for campervan project, dining chairs and more. Viewing is highly recommended! If you use leather, you should see these hides for yourself. In Hertford just 5 mins from A10 junction, we are 10 to 15 mins from M25 J25. Please email with any questions or for more photos.
