 A lovely rare and collectable antique victorian whistle hunting riding crop/whip in the form of a carved  bone head of a Greyhound or Whippet.  The carved bone head is of good quality and finely detailed and has a whistle feature, it has a malacca cane handle and leather bound whip.  The riding crop is in an average used antique condition, consistent with its age and use, the carved bone head has a nice aged patina with good detail, one of the glass eyes has been replaced at some time in the past but this has been sympathetically done and does not detract from the overall appearance.  The leather bound whip is in a well used and badly frayed condition.  (Please see photographs as part of description).
