I am looking for someone who would like to ride my 14HH pony twice a week. He is 22 years old but don't be put off by that as he has lots of energy. He is stabled and kept in Pinkneys Green in Maidenhead. He is lovely to hack and can be ridden in the school but he prefers hacking. He would suit an older rider who just wants something completely safe and reliable to enjoy twice a week or he would suit a younger rider with an experienced mum who wants a pony that has been there and done that and is a little school master. Calm and gentle pony? Here we have for sale Lovely 14.2 rising 7yrs Ride and drive Cob Gelding. He is Super easy to care for, always waiting for his next instruction. Very soppy and loves affection. Would make a fabulous family pony. Brilliant with everything; to loads lorry or trailer, to bath, to groom, for the farrier etc. Loves to be fussed, groomed and loved. Comes running over when he see's you in the field. His Great in the field - no problem to catch. Currently lives out with a companion however is happy alone or In company. Been out with mares and geldings. Isn't bothered with new horses more interested in munching his grass. Worming, feet and teeth all up to date. Currently only bare foot and happy being so. His the type of horse who can be left out of work for 6months over winter, dragged in tacked up and ridden and he'll behave no differently to how he does to when his in work every day. Easy to tack up and is very forgiving. stands still for mounting, only moves off when his asked. He naturally works in a balanced outline throughout walk trot and canter. Due to previously being driven can sometimes run when asked for canter but once you've slowed him Down and asked again he knows what you want. His a very safe and very forgiving ride. However I don't want him going to a novice as I would like someone who further his ridden career. I've had him working over trotting poles and is proving a very quick learner. He hasn't ever been jumped due to not having a small enough knowledgeable rider to teach him. Good to hack alone or in company. Happy in front or behind. Does need a confident firm hand when alone or in front in a new area as he does like to have a stop and nose at everything however once you've hacked the same route 3/4 times it's the same old but for new routes just needs a confident hand to push him forward. He never does anything more than stops and looks. When behind it is just a case of head down and follows the horse in front. His never strong, spooky or silly! Very safe sensible pony. Been in the same home since 6months old. Very very sad sale. Will only go to a 10* knowledgable home. Only for sale due to personal I'll health so cutting down. Comes with a bridle, a saddle. Looking for an experienced person who wants the joy of owning without full time commitment. Absolutely GORGEOUS chocolate Dun Quarter horse, 15.2hh 8 years old (but very green due to late start to working life) Looking for an experienced adult rider who doesn't mind a few quirks, nothing nasty just green due to a late start. Does not buck bolt or rear but has a tendency to go backwards when frightened by something (although is stopable), wiggles around at the mounting block, weaves when brought into the stable. He will hack out alone aswell as in company but he really does rely on his rider for confidence. He is a genuine lovely person and loves human attention. Only reason he is up for share is i work nights but also have another part time job in the day. 2 week days and 1 weekend to suit Based in Grendon so must drive and must have own rider insurance. Striker is a 15hh Connemara Gelding. He is an absolute gentleman on the ground and being ridden. He excels in all 3 disciplines, goes in a lovely outline and loves to jump. He is great to hack both alone and in company, is very quiet on the road and is never strong or silly. I have taken him to many sponsored rides which he loves such as RAF Halton and Waddesdon Sponsored ride. He is forward going and does what is asked of him, he does need to be ridden properly as he is sensitive and I wouldn't be looking for a novice or inexperienced rider. He never gets over excited, I could take him out the field after weeks and he would be exactly the same. I currently have a lovely sharer. He lives out with my other pony, is good to groom and handle. To ride he is mostly lazy but does spook and can buck when excitable. He is just coming back into work after having the winter off, we do not have a ménage but do have a round pen and field to ride in which is rideable 3/4 of the year. Hacking is also available.
