Revel is a 16hh Irish Sports Horse. He is 6 years old and has proven to be a wise head on young shoulders! He was broken in as a 3 year old, and left to mature before going on to do varied things. He has hunted, been on many fun rides, riding club events, show jumped, and had regular show jumping, dressage and XC lessons. He is used to traffic and good to hack out alone or in company. If in company he is great at being the leader but not so keen on being led, however never does anything silly. Good to load in to lorry or trailer, shoe and groom etc. He has amazing breeding lines, with his Grandsire being the infamous Quidam De Revel. This horse is bred to jump! His Grandsire is: Quidam de Revel is one of the best performers of his generation. In , Quidam de Revel topped the World Breeding Championships Jumping Stallion ratings for the second year running, established himself as the pre-eminent - and most expensive - living sire of jumping horses. Quidam was a jumping star as a member of the French Olympic Team, and later with Thomas Velin. He placed many times in international competitions and was the recipient of the Team Bronze Medal in the Olympic Games in Barcelona, and was 4th individually with Herve Godignon. He won the Rome Grand Prix, the New York Grand Prix, and performed several double all clears for France in many Coupes des Nations. A novice could ride him but would rather he went to a competent home to keep him at his full potential.
