Sunncamp Continental 4 SE Retro Canvas Steel Frame Tent

For sale is our spacious Sunncamp Continental 4SE 4 berth steel frame tent. This is a proper old skool badass tent, not some flimsy nylon pop-up thing. Manufactured in , it is in excellent condition, the canvas barely has a mark on it. Has always been dry stored. A couple of the spring retainers in the poles are broken but this doesn't affect the tent when pitched. The exterior cotton is waterproof. Sleeps 4 adults with kit and cooker in comfort. It has two 2-berth interior double bedroom tents with sewn in groundsheets, zip doors and fly-mesh ventilation. There is also a large living area and small alcove (with separate window and vents) for putting up a cooker. In front there is a panoramic window (with curtains) leading to a large awning (seats 4 people in case of inclement weather or too much sun). The sun canopy means you could easily use this as a drive away awning for a camper van as its the right height for a side door. The tent is tall enough to stand up in (even under the awning). The tent has an H-shaped steel tubed frame with 6 legs, is easy to pitch (original instruction booklet included!) and is extremely sturdy. The tent comes in its original two grey cotton duffel bags each about the size of a boxing punch bag. The sturdy construction means that it is bulky and heavy (I'm guessing maybe kg altogether), so you need to be going on your camping holiday with an estate car and/or a coffin on the roof to fit it in. It looks like in this picture (although this isn't a picture of our tent - ours is packed in the duffel bags at the moment. And the sheep aren't included). Pick-up only obviously. Ad ID:

Sunncamp APS Plus, 6 person family frame tent. Good condition, High Quality.

Sunncamp APS tent. This is a very large family-sized pole tent. It is very good quality & highly waterproof. It has had about 6 weeks use in total. It is 10 years old but has been in storage for most of that time. It has a few wee signs of use (e.g. small hole in window mesh, one tab missing from bedroom pod) but is generally in very good condition. The silver paint has flaked from some of the poles but they are mostly fine. A couple of the springs which helpfully keep the pole sections together in storage have broken but this does not affect the structural integrity. It cost around £550 at the time and was top of the range. It has some very thoughtful features e.g. pockets in the bedroom pods and living area, roof vent, mesh vents in bedrooms & double doors on bedrooms; mesh or opaque nylon. It is arranged as 3 bedroom pods, each of which will which sleep 2 people, off of a 3m x 3m central square living area. Then there is an additional 3m x 2m "porch" area which is great for cooking/eating. Good, sturdy design, It has withstood gales on Harris, when other tents were blown away. The fabric is still in excellent condition as are the taped seams. It had the highest rating for "hydrostatic head" of water (waterproofness) at the time, but I can't remember the numbers. Overall it has some signs of age and minor damage but still has years of use left in it. It is also great as a garden marquee for parties, BBQ etc. If you can see this ad, its still for sale. SunnCamp Shadow 600 tent. Fantastic family tent

6 man family tent but best for 5. Two good double sleeping compartments and one smaller "double." Very large area in the middle between the sleeping compartments; perfect if you need to sit inside - plenty of room for all, plus a table and chairs. Four sets of flexible poles and straightforward to put up- a steady approach should have it up in 30 minutes. Had four or five family holidays (2 adults and 2 teenage children) and it was ideal; I would have found it very hard to have bought a better tent for the purpose.
