Stunning huge Art Nouveau Czech Austrian iridescent glass
These are my favourite pieces from my collection but they are so large, they over shadow all the other pieces so it's with great regret that I have decided to part with them. They are both genuine art nouveau and Edwardian period, the lady, being the art nouveau item, both the same decor of glass, a beautiful mottled iridescent glass and shape. They are definitely Austrian or Czech and are from a glass house such as Loetz, kralik or similar, it's been suggested that they may be Rindscopt. The lady has a green applied substance, I think it's cold painted, which is what Austria is renowned for. There is an identical figural glass stand with different glass bowl but same sizes which is currently for sale in etsy and described as possibly quezal or Loetz which is priced at Ā£ and that appears to show a fault to the glass and the figurine, which mine do not have. I am happy to send numerous photos of different angles of this and will answer questions about it. I collect art nouveau loetz, kralik and similar, but these are just too big as my hands and back are getting worse and I'm worried about damaging them, which is the only reason why I'm selling them as they are awkward to clean for me. The price is for both pieces, they would have to be disassembled for safe transit if collection isn't possible and postage may be expensive as it would need to be fully tracked and insured. Postage would need to be covered by the buyer but I won't charge anything more than what is paid to the courier for that. I have PayPal. Read More
