Project Mare - DN17 area (Scunthorpe) Heartbreakingly i have made the decision to put my mare up for sale to a 5* home willing to give her a job. I am no longer the right person for her and can only offer her a happy hacker life which isnt the life she deserves. 5yr old Tb x Appy x Oldenburg (Landato Bloodline) Dark bay mare (not offically measured) I bought Spirit when she was 8 months old with the intention to event her. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control i have not been able to give her the educational continuity she deserves. As a result she is broken with two solid paced and a ridden canter was emerging before riding stopped. She is still very green. Good points This mare is very trusting, very loving, very keen to please and wants to learn and do things Doesnt kick or bite Never bolted Ridden in a snaffle Stands to be mounted Responsive to the leg Good catch, load, farrier etc Up to date with vacs, wormer, farrier. is microchipped and passported with Pet ID. Responds wonderfully to natural horsemanship Will hack alone and in company first or last Fantastic doer, currently lives out 24/7 unrugged Bad points Shes out of work so is sold from the field (price reflects this) She can be a typical mare She is a typical youngster who likes to push her luck Not a novice ride. Needs an experienced and confident rider If she doesnt understand the question she can bronk in protest She can free jump 5ft (the fence, but i believe this is boredom as shes only ever jumped the sectional fencing, never the perimeter) Needs more schooling and more traffic work (again due to my lack of time) Im selling her with her tack £800 Read More

Very lovely iron/dapple grey mare, quiet, good bone. Stands about 16.2, turned five early September. Bought wild from a herd as a project, but just dont have the time to break/bring on. Bought specifically to do side saddle and three day event with. Now halter broken, used to daily stable life, will lead, have rugs on, (still working on back feet) not a mean horse, always the lowest in the herd despite her size!! PROJECT MARE

Lula is a very sweet 15.1hh 8 yo chestnut mare. She has been professionally broken in however can be difficult as she can be quite sensitive on her sides when applying lower leg contact. Therefore is been advertised as a long 1 to 1 project with someone that has the time to work with her or as a broodmare/ companion as she has very good working hunter breeding lines or as a companion. She is very low maintenance to look after, lives in or out (living out the 24/7 last winter) with both mares and geldings. Good to trim/ groom/ loads better in a lorry but will load in a trailer. Lovely project mare for sale. Bought her to re school in the spring but sadly just not settling into our environment. She's been lightly schooled in the summer befor I got her. Easy to do clip box shoe no vices. I feel she needs a routine of turn out an work as not enjoying being turned away an as at the moment we have no where to work her she's not happy. We also have a few farm animals that she also didn't like. I've only ridden her the once when I tried her was good but very green. I've not been able to ride since so I cannot say how she would be, as we have no where to work them yet.
