Only chance to purchase him as a stallion before he's gelded !! 3 years old () standing at 14.1 to make palomino cob stallion with 4 white socks and a white blaze !! Lovely boy, has seen traffic and is excellent. Good to catch and with vet. Had his teeth done on 29th March. He's a bit nervous with his back feet but not nasty so will need work with this, with live in or out rugged or unrugged. Has been bathed numerous times. I no longer require to keep him as a stallion as I don't want to breed but I feel he will be wasted as a gelding. Due to his colour he carries a single cream gene but will require a test to see if he carries the double cream gene. (so I've been told I actually don't have a clue about the colours) I will continue to work with his back feet until he's sold. If he's not sold I will have him gelded and broken to drive. Due to his age, the fact he's growing and our lack of grass through the winter he's covered but on the lean side, he would benefit from some good grass. Palomino cob gelding in Bristol

For sale. 3 years old (March ) palomino cob gelding. Standing at 14hh to make white socks and a white blaze. Due to his age he is unbroken but is excellent in traffic and has been bitted. He is nervous when it comes to his back feet but only due to a lack of handling at a younger age, I will continue to work with him until he's sold. He happily lives in or out and easy to catch. He has been living in a mixed heard, recently gelded and returned to a mixed heard. He wasn't coltish at all. He needs someone who can give him a one to one as he wasn't handled at a young age so he can be nervous. We sadly don't have a lot of grass so could do with some nice grass to build him up. His feather got a bit bog burnt in the winter but growing back nicely. Within the last month he's had his teeth done, feet trimmed, had his jabs and been gelded so he's ready for his forever home. I have decided to try to find my boy another home. This has been a very hard decision. I bought him as my first horse. He is not fizzy at all but is quite forward and definitely pulls his confidence from his rider. With that in mind he would suit a confident/competent novice. He loves hacking and is fine on his own or in a group. He loves to pop small//medium jumps (I have videos) and is a good, all round sort. Very easy to manage on the yard, a very good dooer and is responsive to leg and voice aids (as I’m nervous, I’ve done quite a bit of ground work with him). The downside (some would say)...he cribs in the stable. It has no effect on him to date, I just check his teeth every 6 months. I’m in no rush to move him on, I can wait for the right home and I’ll continue working with him to keep him fit and active.
