Beautiful Palomino Gelding for sale for the simple reason of being totally wasted. Stands approx 14hh maybe 14.1hh Blank Canvas ready to break in this year and go out in the show ring! Hes worn tack and had pressure on his back and was fine, however due to him being physically immature last year i did not want to rush him, So hes ready to being on and have fun. Loves attention and is good for the farrier and to be tied up groomed, Stables or lives out, Hes currently a hairy mud monster in the field! I can assure you though this horse has the wow factor, very heavy bone and feather. Hes not keen on the vet due to an instance when he was gelded but we try to re assure he as much as we can, Hence can get upset when injected and can turn into a drama for him. Palomino cob gelding in Bristol

For sale. 3 years old (March ) palomino cob gelding. Standing at 14hh to make white socks and a white blaze. Due to his age he is unbroken but is excellent in traffic and has been bitted. He is nervous when it comes to his back feet but only due to a lack of handling at a younger age, I will continue to work with him until he's sold. He happily lives in or out and easy to catch. He has been living in a mixed heard, recently gelded and returned to a mixed heard. He wasn't coltish at all. He needs someone who can give him a one to one as he wasn't handled at a young age so he can be nervous. We sadly don't have a lot of grass so could do with some nice grass to build him up. His feather got a bit bog burnt in the winter but growing back nicely. Within the last month he's had his teeth done, feet trimmed, had his jabs and been gelded so he's ready for his forever home. Bertie is our gorgeous mother daughter share cob gelding who we have owned for 2 years. He is currently in work 4-5 days per week schooling, hacking and natural horsemanship games/sessions however my daughter is not doing as much as hoped and I'm finding it difficult to keep up the work I think Bertie needs to bring him on. Bertie is kept at Southview yard just outside Wellingborough. It has miles of off road hacking including a nice long strip to gallop up, and a flood lit ménage. There are lots of people to hack with and the potential to join the yard parelli group. I am looking for someone who wants to work with Bertie at least 2 days per week, who is no more than 11.5 stone in weight, and who is happy to ride in a treeless saddle. You will also need rider insurance please, which I will check. Payment to made monthly in advance. We can agree set days or I can be totally flexible depending on what you want to do. Bertie can occasionally spook when out hacking, particularly if alone, although he tends to jump to the side or forward and comes back to listen pretty quickly. However, he can nap if you try a route he's not so familiar with and therefore needs firm direction from his rider. When schooling he will try to get away with minimum effort as he's pretty laid back and chilled out. However, he can move beautifully and be relaxed and forward if you are firm but sensitive with him. I wouldn't say he's a born jumper so if jumping is your thing you will need to work at it to develop him with this. He's had both my kids and my kids' novice friends on him and I am happy to have my 11 year old daughter hack him out around the open fields with me walking/running beside. The friendliest 14hh gelding cob

This is the hardest decision I have ever had to make but I am having to sell my best friend Oscar. He is the friendliest, sweetest horse I have ever met. He loves people! I ride him out on hacks mostly so he is still a bit green in the school. He has a lovely walk and trot and he does love a canter out on hacks but we are working on it in the school! He is 5 years old. Has one stunning blue eye and one brown. Has 2 front shoes but no back although the farrier says his feet are good enough to not need shoes. Picks his feet up lovely. Since I've had him I have only had the vet out once for his back leg that was clonking. When I bought him he was just stood in a muddy field doing nothing and only eating hay. Then when I had him he was being worked and fed, because of this he was growing and getting more muscle tone. The vet advised he was just having a sudden growth spurt and as I have worked him more and more to build muscle tone it has vanished and he has been fine since. Never been lame. Great with dogs and kids. Can muck out around him. Lives out or in. Would come with rugs and I also have extra horsey things I would no longer be needing. He can come with his bridle but I have no saddle as the one I currently use is not mine. I have decided to try to find my boy another home. This has been a very hard decision. I bought him as my first horse. He is not fizzy at all but is quite forward and definitely pulls his confidence from his rider. With that in mind he would suit a confident/competent novice. He loves hacking and is fine on his own or in a group. He loves to pop small//medium jumps (I have videos) and is a good, all round sort. Very easy to manage on the yard, a very good dooer and is responsive to leg and voice aids (as I’m nervous, I’ve done quite a bit of ground work with him). The downside (some would say)...he cribs in the stable. It has no effect on him to date, I just check his teeth every 6 months. I’m in no rush to move him on, I can wait for the right home and I’ll continue working with him to keep him fit and active.
