Very sad sale of my beautiful gelding. I've tried to make this advert as honest as possible to try and find the most suitable home for my boy. Flash is firm favourite on the yard. His temperament on the ground and ridden is to die for. He is not a novice ride and can be difficult but never bucks, rears or does anything dangerous. He has lovely paces and a beautiful canter. He is strong jumping & XC so again will need a confident experienced rider to bring out the best in him. He is fit and ready to go and have fun with his new person! He's been out and done a bit of everything. He is perfect to do his feet, teeth and travel. Stunning hh ISH gelding

I'm considering making the heart breaking decision to sell my lovely boy. I've had Dallas for 18 months and I love him dearly, but unfortunately I don't have the time or facilities to keep his education going. He is lovely to school and is keen to please, he is green but a fast learner with a lovely work ethic. He has all the basics and is quite flashy. To hack in company he is no problem and is great with traffic. To hack alone he is quite nervous and babyish, I think he plays on my nerves a little and takes the mick abit. Dallas needs someone who won't let him walk over them like he does a little with me. He's been in pro yards and behaved like a pussycat but he takes advantage of my nerves in some situations. He has real potential but I'm not sure it's with me that he'll unleash that potential and it's such a shame to see him wasted as a field ornament. He isn't in full ridden work, but this would take no time at all. I have hacked him alone recently after not being ridden for so long and he was fine but I almost convince myself he will misbehave so I just don't enjoy riding him anymore. He has never actually done anything for me to feel this way but he can be sharp and makes me uneasy and this is only when hacking alone. I'm in no massive hurry to sell and would much rather ensure he is in the forever home that I unfortunately couldn't give him. He is open to vetting as I had a 5 stage when I got him. Stunning Miniature Shetland Gelding.

Please read completely before getting in touch. I do not appreciate timewasters therefore I try to put all details in adverts. Absolutely stunning 3 year old miniature shetland who craves attention. He stands at 30 inches and he is gelded and registered with IMHPS. Hes wormed regularly and good with farrier (unusual as I know a lot of Shetlands are not) just had his feet paired last week, he is also good to clip. Nice and compact and in fabulous body condition apart from having only half a forelock due to my foal eating it! He is out 24/7 with my foal and other big horses on good paddocks and has had no lameness or signs of lami at all in the year I have owned him. I initially bought him to be a companion to my broodmare as she wouldn't leave the fence line where my neighbours shetlands grazed last year and she wasn't eating so I got her one of her own but she absolutely hates him and bowled him off his feet so I've had to split my horses up into separate fields temporarily hoping to get them used to each other over time but unfortunately she still won't take to him. However he turned out to be a very good companion to my foal once I weaned him and they play all the time. Unfortunately now the foal is getting bigger and a bit bolshy with little man and is also for sale now and the two other geldings are picking on him a bit too getting hold of him with his rugs which they have annihilated and now with no rug on the foal has also taken a liking to his mane and eaten half of it off! Therefore I have decided to sell him as I tried to put him in a paddock on his own but he hates it so is back in with the bullies. He needs a special home where he can get more human attention and do a job and perhaps another mini as a friend.....I had hoped to show and eventually drive him. STUNNING, GENUINE YR GELDING

Sad sale of yr Skewbald Irish gelding. Casper has a temperament to die for, always happy to see you and loves attention. He has done a bit of everything, always with a smile on his face. Hacking – this is what he has mainly been used for over the last 3 years as this is his owners main interest. He is happy to hack on his own and in company. Good in traffic and used to seeing farm machinery. For the last 6 months he has been used to accompany a horse who is scared of all traffic and he has been great at this. A calming influence. Flat work – established in all 3 paces working in a soft, round outline. He is off the leg without being sharp. Lovely leg yield and always happy to have a go at anything new even if the directions from the rider are not always clear! Ready to go out competing. Jumping – a complete machine. He loves SJ and XC. Is not phased by fillers, water, ditches, water trays etc. Bold, careful and nicely forward but always ridden in a snaffle. Easy to control and turns on a sixpence if you ask him. Would be very competitive in a jump off but this is not something that his owner has been interested in. He stays on a line and would be perfect for PC/ RC teams. Very rarely touches a pole. Has done lots of fun rides which he thoroughly enjoys. Would make a great Eventer. Day to day handling – you cannot fault this guy. Easy to catch, shoe, ties up etc. Almost loads himself in a trailer (do not own a lorry but would not expect this to be an issue), has been taken out extensively for rides and is easy to manage on your own. Until recently he has lived alone with no issues but he is also happy with company. He is currently turned out with other geldings with no problems. The only thing he is not keen on is being clipped. That said he has been clipped every year with patience and no sedation. If you want an occasional plod around the block he is not the horse for you. If you want something who enjoys his work, to have fun on and come home with rosettes he would be perfect. Fit and ready to go for PC/ RC teams/ camp/ activities. Up to date with vaccinations, worming and shoes. A very sad sale as he has been in his current home for over 3 years. Only available due to a change in circumstances which has resulted in him, until a month ago, only being hacked a few times a week and he is totally wasted doing this.
