Extremely sad sale of our beautiful Connemara pony. We have made the hard decision to offer our pony for sale so my daughter (19) can move onto horses. He is a 14.2 grey gelding who is a big pony so no small children. He would be ideally suited to a small adult or leggy teenager confident rider to bring out the best in this gorgeous boy. He has been with us for 5 years since arriving from Ireland as a 4year old in that time he has proved himself as a super pony who loves a variety of work and cuddle. He has been slowly produced and not over faced. He has good flat work which is improving all the time starting to work in a consistent outline, he has been placed unaff dressage gaining high 60s in walk trot and being placed 1st on many occasions he has also done prelim and again gaining high 60s with nice comments from judges recently being placed 5th with more work he will gain higher marks. He has taken part in PC activities and camp which he loved he would make a good teams pony PC/RC ODE: has competed and been placed every time out jumping up to 80cm, but has been XC schooled over variety of BE fences up to 100 with confidence and jumps skinnies, steps, ditches, corners, in and out of water, he really enjoys XC due to lack of transport he has untapped potential for BE and BS SJ: competed variety of classes ranging from cm he seems comfortable at these heights he has a neat scoopy jump always placed with double clears. He has jumped single fences over 1metre. I have so many wonderful things to say about this lad. He is the sweetest horse who loves attention and a pamper, and would stand for hours to be groomed and fussed. He hacks out both alone and with company, going first or last. He is snaffle mouthed at ALL times. He has three lovely paces and loves to jump. I’m not 100% sure but think he has hunted out in Ireland previously. He is good to shoe, load and catch and has never reared or bolted. He is known to buck occasionally when excited, but this is nothing major or nasty. He isn’t silly or spooky and is good with traffic but can be abit cautious with tractors. Although he isn't nasty, he is not a novice ride. He is very forward going and can occasionally become strong. However, all he wants to do is please, and do his best of what's asked. He has been turned out with mares and geldings and has never had a problem. He currently stays out in the summer and comes in to be stabled during winter. Stunning all rounder Connemara

Tommie is a stunning 15hh just turned 7 year old Connemara who is regrettably for sale due to upcoming work and college commitments which will mean his talent will be completely and unfortunately wasted with me. Over the two years I have owned Tommie he has done 2 seasons of PC proving to be very versatile, doing all typical PC activities such as SJ, XC and mounted games and camps which he was totally unfazed by and he turned his hoof to absolutely everything and anything, he loves to please his rider. He has competed unaffiliated SJ up to 85cm but this by no means is his limit- he is very scopey and totally unfazed by any fillers or jumps- he never stops. He can be strong and forward going when jumping so no novices- this is only due to his inexperience because of his age, he isn't malicious or dangerous, never bucks/bronks/rears etc he just rushes due to excitement. Tommie has competed in hunter trails and XC which he absolutely loves, he's a real sit and point type of XC ride, takes you to the fence nicely and again he never stops at anything, fine with ditches/water/steps etc, nothing fazes this horse, he is very honest. He is a lovely bold, forward going and easy XC ride, this is definitely his forte. He would make an amazing eventer with the right training, he has a very trainable attitude and will turn his hoof to anything. Likewise he would make a brilliant hunter, there is no country that fazes this horse and he is at his best when he is galloping through the country or XC field. He has XC schooled around BE 90 fences perfectly and very recently got placed 6th out of over 70 entrants at a hunter trail at Osberton Estate with no faults and just 0.69 seconds between him and 1st place! He is the perfect horse for a confident, quiet rider who is looking for a little horse with a massive heart that you can put your own stamp on. Tommie is stabled next to a very busy road which he hacks out on alone or in company perfectly and he never batts an eye in the Heaviest of traffic and isn't spooky at all. Tommie is a very loving horse and really thrives from having trust in his rider as he can be nervous of new people. He is perfect to load and travel, you don't even know that you have him in the trailer he is very quiet. Perfect for the farrier/dentist/vet etc. Is up to date with all vaccinations and the pysio.
