Bear With Rupert 9 years old Chestnut gelding Ex racehorse I've sadly come to the conclusion due to time and work commitments I can no longer do him justice. Rupert deserves the best home possible and it would break my heart if he didn't so 5* home is a must! I have owned this lovely ginger boy for the past 3 years and it has had its ups and downs. He has manors to die for in and out of the stable and loves to be groomed and messed with. He's great to handle but like any horse he does has the tendency to shy at something daft. He has fantastic feet, regularly shod with a full set and brilliant for the farrier. Rupert is an easy going lad to ride and a fantastic attitude to work. He's very clever and picks things up easily. He hasn't done much jumping with me due to him being a show horse. I have although taken him around craven and sommerford park and he hasn't been a problem. He does however needs a confident rider to boost his confidence to pop the fence. He has excelled in the showing circuit and gives the judge a fantastic ride. Welsh section A show pony for sale through no fault of his own. Sadly his rider has outgrown him and is moving to a bigger pony. Fantastic pony for lead rein with for a less confident rider or 2nd pony for confident rider who can ride. He is a sweet, cheeky, lovable character who loves people and being with them. He lives in or out and is fine with mares or geldings. Only experienced horsey family please !! I have a beautiful little 12.2 pony who we have owned for 6 years, I looking for a sharer so pony to stay in our currant yard. I am looking for a rider who is looking to exercise our little boy. He is great to catch tack up get on and go. Hacking can get a bit joggy only sometimes but nothing too scary. He has done lead rein which is great and then off, walk trots canters and jumps but we don't really do jumping with him that much as really more a show pony works in a great outline when asked correctly. My 12 year old is going onto her next pony and sadly outgrown him, so she goes still ride him and loves him but feel someone else could be having some fun with him. We would prefer an experienced family to share him as a typical Welsh section b pony. He is out at the moment but has him own stable and tack rugs etc. In the winter comes in at night and out during the day. I love this pony so much so no time wasters please.
