I am selling this beautiful yurt, which was made by Avalon Yurts (master yurt craftsmen) to my bespoke requirements in . With a 5.4m / 18ft diameter and generously high at the eaves, this yurt comfortably accommodates 2-4 for living, sleeping, eating etc. MADE BY MASTER CRAFTSMEN As with all Avalon Yurts, this yurt boasts a hand bent solid wood frame and hand knotted side walls (kana), adding to the beauty of the interior. The canvas is military grade 'core spun' cotton duck (which means a natural cotton outer, spun around a strengthening core of synthetic fibre). It has a white canvas base (roof and walls) with a sand coloured crown fitting and tensioning band. As you can see from the pictures (which were taken in late October) it has a painted pine door, and 2 clear PVC windows and a clear PVC crown, which means not only is it weatherproof, it is also spacious and light by day, and great for star watching at night. COMES WITH FLOOR AND FIRE The yurt comes complete with an insulated floor (which prevents a lot of cold rising from the ground and greatly adds to user comfort - and saves a lot of fire wood!) The Marine Ply finish means it is easy to maintain and looks great with just a few scatter rugs. The last two pictures show the size of the main floor pieces and depth of insulation. Easily manageable with two people to lift and fit via the simple screw system. Again this floor is made by a proper craftsman and built to last. The yurt also comes with a good sized wood burning stove and flue, which is sited to the left of the door and vents out of the canvas through a silicone valve (for safety). This design frees up masses floorspace within the yurt (unlike a traditional Mongolian layout where the centrally sited fire cuts the living space in two) Since acquiring the yurt, I lived in it through a couple of Summers, then for the last three seasons it has been sited at an eco-retreat where it yielded a generous rental income of up to £600 a week between May and September. The owners (quite sensibly) want to buy a new yurt so they can keep a new / used stock rotation and also (quite sensibly) want to keep 100% of the income instead of giving a % away!) As I no longer have my own land to site a yurt, I am reluctantly selling up. Condition: The canvas is in good condition, considering it is half way through its expected 10 year life. (The frame should last many many more years with careful handling, storing, regular oiling etc). The roof canvas is slightly speckled on one side due to tree overhang in , but the walls and roof were professionally cleaned and reproofed with top-of-the-range Rot, Water and Fire Resistant proofing at the start of this season. There is one minor tear in the roof on the other side which is fully mended with ripstop canvas tape. Mongolian yurt - 5m in diameter - display yurt sold at discount

This is my brown, 5 metre diameter, authentic mongolian yurt. I have used the yurt twice fully built but mostly had then parts on show at shows. In moving this some of the parts have have superficial marks. The Brown yurt has 4 lattice walls. These link up to 66 brown (Uni) poles which are connected to the crown. The yurt comes with a white cotton layer for presentation purposes which lies upon the roof poles. A layer of insulation is then placed up on the carcass of the frame and upon that is our Green cover and individual and specially designed skylight cover. We recomend you place your yurt on a raised area if it is to be built for a long while. We can help with this if required. We can also help with log burners if required. 5m bell tent 450gsm heavy durable canvas with woodburner stove heating

Hi, we are selling our fantastic roomy, wind and weather proof tent as kids are older and are no longer holidaying with us. We've had the tent 6 years from new and it's fab. I fitted the stove when tent was new and it's a brilliant addition making life much more pleasant (the swedish military use it in the arctic!). I have just painted it with bbq paint as I do every season and it's like new. The tent itself has a few stains from mud, rust from the stove, etc, but shrugs the weather off with ease. Wind, rain, etc are no match for it, you're always cosy with the stove on. The tent is from Canvas and Cast and the canvas is thicker and heavier than is available in any other bell tents I have seen. With it raining heavily you can wipe your hand hard across the inside of the tent and it will NOT come through, GUARANTEED. The tent pegs are literally made from bent concrete reinforcement rods and are indestructible, the guy lines are chunky and extremely strong,the tent came with a metal middle pole but had the option of an authentic wooden pole so we actually have both types, groundsheet is separate and again very thick and durable. The whole thing is built to last and I have seen a lot of bell tents, but nothing beats it. When on uneven ground I have made 4 wooden supports for the guy lines to keep the tent itself off the grass, only the tuck under flaps should be touching the grass. We have had 5 camp beds, two kitchen units, stove, table for prep and storage, a gas fridge, logs, etc, all in the tent, and because it comes with a substantial porch and sail, if wind direction changes or you want some privacy, just reconfigure the setup and it's done. The porch is large enough to cook and eat under and has been invaluable. We like to sit under the porch when the sun goes down with a drink in hand. It's also great for really hot weather too - meaning you can sit outside in the shade. Easy to put up and down (my wife and I manage it easily) and all packs away into 2 matching bags. The stove flue sections pack neatly into the stove itself and is light to carry. The package includes the tent, porch, sail and groundsheet, along with the heating stove, 2 camp beds, a kitchen unit (hi gear), 2 foldable camping chairs and 2 camp beds.
