This is my son's bed. It is in excellent condition but he is too big for it! It comprises a desk with a bookcase which extends out leaving a good desk area with space for a chair and more storage shelves under the desk. An extra shelf is fitted at the top level which is great for alarm clocks or night lights. The sofa/futon pulls out and the cushion unfolds to make a great sofa bed which is great for sleepovers.
