The bed is in very good used condition showing some slight wear and tear, but not really noticeable unless up close. We seemed to have misplaced the rods for the junior bed in error during a move, but we managed to make good use of some strong plywood to hold together and has not posed any problems. We do have the mattresses included with the package, however even though we are a pet and smoke free household, it is recommended to purchase new mattresses especially for newborns.
