Thanks to the combination of this noble material and warm light of Edison-styled lightbulb and small halogen bulb our product is a unique addition to any interior. Each lamp bulb has a unique style, the Edison bulb is surrounded by a solid copper wire cage and the other low voltage bulb is enclosed by a Jawbox Gin glass spirit bottle brewed in Ireland, labelled with its own Steampunk Logo which can be easily removed for bulb replacement. Steampunk/Industrial Style Fantastic Unique Double Lamp

Large Unique double Steampunk lamp. This lamp is a 'one-off'. Constructed with very rare difficult to source 'at a price' components. Plus a labour intensive build. Very much an attention grabbing conversation piece. The components list includes a brass/bronze "Sensus" water meter, manufaactured, used and imported from the USA, a rare find. Also a vintage brass guage from "The Standard Motor Construction Co. Jersey City, New Jersey USA. The lamp base is a solid steel industrial double chainwheel cog. 2 x Edison style retro filament bulbs enclosed and protected in 2 x vintage style bulb cages. The 'ultra' vintage industrial theme of this lamp is completed by the incorporation of malleable iron pipe and fittings and vintage style cloth braid covered mains cord. This lamp, weighing in excess of 17KG is designed to be highly stable. It measures 120cm high x approximately 50cm wide at it's widest point. The buyer is welcome to collect from Skegness (PE25) but I would need to be notified if its your intention to arraange your own courier. VINTAGE TABLE LAMP FROM FRANCE, SURREAL /STEAMPUNK.

A vintage table lamp from France constructed from an antique cast iron shoemakers last. Table lamp base translates from English to French as “pied de lamp”, literally “foot of lamp”, so there is a note of surrealist humour by whoever made the lamp given that the base is the shape of a human foot. The cast iron last has some age to it, I would say around 100 years old, and has a lovely patina with minor nicks and dings one would expect from a working piece of equipment, and commensurate with its age. The last has been drilled through to accommodate a brass tube through which the electrical cable runs. The lamp holder and wiring (3 core, earthed) have recently been replaced for safety reasons. In the photographs the lamp base has an Edison “squirrel cage” bulb, but an alternative look could be achieved with a lampshade. Dimensions: Height: cm. 20 cm. (shoe last) Height: cm. 44 cm. (shoe last plus light holder and bulb) Length (at base) 19 cm.
