FUNKY RETRO-INDUSTRIAL UP-CYCLED PALLET COFFEE TABLE

Newly made up-cycled retro-industrial styled Pallet Coffee Table. Cleaned, planed & sanded the pallet table has been finished with a medium-dark oak stain, and then Danish Oil and ' Annie Sloan ' wax-finished to a soft-sheen and wipe-able finish. In further keeping with the retro-industrial style the table has been fitted with brand new large-size ball-bearing stainless steel castors - 2 locking and 2 non-lacking on respective opposite corners. This to allow clear stability when the table is in it's desired room position (with the 2 locked castors locked on) or (when easily unlocked) to allow the free and easy movement around of the table. In total, the table is a talking point and an unusual addition to the right house and room. (estimate circa s) This handmade item represents Rekindled Yard's ethos of reusing, recycling and recreating perfectly. This unique piece, with its worn and battered look will look stunning in any space...perhaps for a man cave or collector! The fuel can was gently cleaned to retain original paintwork and surface rust. Recycled 22mm copper piping along with a vintage "hot" enamel tap top (Tiber ) were used to create the lamp fitting. Large Unique double Steampunk lamp. This lamp is a 'one-off'. Constructed with very rare difficult to source 'at a price' components. Plus a labour intensive build. Very much an attention grabbing conversation piece. The components list includes a brass/bronze "Sensus" water meter, manufaactured, used and imported from the USA, a rare find. Also a vintage brass guage from "The Standard Motor Construction Co. Jersey City, New Jersey USA. The lamp base is a solid steel industrial double chainwheel cog. 2 x Edison style retro filament bulbs enclosed and protected in 2 x vintage style bulb cages. The 'ultra' vintage industrial theme of this lamp is completed by the incorporation of malleable iron pipe and fittings and vintage style cloth braid covered mains cord. This lamp, weighing in excess of 17KG is designed to be highly stable. It measures 120cm high x approximately 50cm wide at it's widest point.
