The adorable STAR is just 4yrs old and already in rescue, picked up as a stray in the north west, we have been asked to find this handsome boy his forever home. Star is coming into our care shortly from Manchester Dogs Home - Mid June, and he will then be in our kennels in the South Yorkshire area. Alittle about Star, 4yrs old, neutered, microchipped and fully inoculated by the time of adoption. Star is a typical young shepherd who has alot to say for himself, he will shout when he sees other dogs then he wants to play with them, so as the saying goes a "typical gobby shepherd" he is fine with other dogs, so could live with a calm submissive non-reactive dogs, or being the only dog. Cats are untested so we would say a cat free home As Star was picked up as a stray we would suggest 9-12yrs onwards or no children, as we have no history on Star at all. We have met Star and he is a very friendly fun cheeky boy which will return love and loyalty to his new owners, he needs some brushing up on his basic training and lead work but this is going to be good fun to build up the bond between dog and new owner. Diesel 2yr old male german shepherd now ready for adoption

IF YOU CAN NOT REHOME PLEASE SHARE Our very handsome Diesel is now ready for adoption. He is around 2years old and is a typical reserved shepherd which needs just alittle short time to make sure you are not of any threat to him, then Diesel will spring into life with oodles of energy and cheekiness too. Diesel was brought into us recently as he was surrendered by his owner due to him not being able to afford his vet treatment, PTS was threatened and thankfully with Rescues working together, we were able to secure Diesels future by allowing him to come into us instead. Diesel is fully inoculated and microchipped, he adores a good run around, but would benefit from further training with his commands, and lead work too. He is alittle unsure when you are touching around his neck/collar, so we are working on this and he is being really great in accepting that he will not be hurt or dragged about by his collar again. This handsome boy will need a home which has some patience and understanding of the breed, as Diesel is the typical german shepherd where he will protect his home and his owner if he needs too, although we had no issues with this at all, this was his initial job to do with his previous owner but we think he was too soft for this kind of job. We would suggest a dog free home with Diesel in the beginning then slowly maybe after a few months introducing another dog into the home, as he does need to work through some training and not be side tracked by another dog etc. We have been instructed by the previous owner he did live with another dog but we feel for now it would benefit Diesel to be the only dog and keeping him socialised with other dogs so he does not lose the enjoyment of other canines. Cats we would suggest is a no -go I am afraid, He will chase them. As Diesel does bounce about alot, we would suggest children from 9-12yrs onwards or a child free home. If the children are large dog/german shepherd savvy this would be of benefit too. Ready for Adoption - please take a look at Troy Troy is 6yrs old a semi/long haired chocolate sable male german shepherd, picked up as a stray and now safe in our kennels awaiting his forever home. He is very ball orientated which is an excellent training tool for working on a couple of his issues. He is very friendly with people. Hi everyone! My name is BooBoo and I have so much love to give to that special someone. I have a family now which I absolutely adore but they have had to make the hard decision to give me another chance with another family. It makes me sad but I know they are doing the right thing. Let me tell you all about me.... I am a very big Black German shepherd and am about 18 months old now. I have long hair that everyone just loves to ruffle. I pretend it embarrasses me but secretly I love it. I love to be with people and greet everyone with a big wag of my tail. When you sit down I just have to have a smell and touch your nose. I'm looking for a new best friend really. Someone I can follow around and just love. I will be a really good boy. I have to tell you something about me though. It can be pretty scary but my mummy at the moment has it under control. Sometimes everything goes a little dark and I can feel my body shake a little. I've hurt myself a couple of times. Mummy says that's the reason I need a new family. I love my sister but she gets very scared and tried to help me up but her teeth are sharp and it hurt me. I still love her though as I know she didn't mean it. Mummy says it's called epilepsy or something. I have some little sweets I take and theyve really helped me and I havent had a dark moment for a while. This makes us all happy. I love other big dogs but don't like the small ones. They are strange. I would love to live with another doggy but I think I would be safer living on my own!
