Time to say goodbye to this beauty. My lovely and extremely rare STANDEL Lark 6 Acoustic Guitar. I have an OM28 Martin Marquis now, which better suits my fingerstyle. Comes with original Hardcase. I put this up on Eric Sutton's Standel and Harptone group on Facebook not too long ago and as a friend of mine, he was kind enough to tell me all about it. Here's his comments: "Mal's guitar was the top of the line with the Deluxe trim package, and sold for $400 in w/o case. That translates to $ today. The sunburst was $10 cheaper then the natural. Even though the labor and materials to spray them was 3 times as much. The sunbust finish was soo my Dad's finish back then and nobody wanted them. I know of only 5 with the sunburst and I own 3 of them. My research and the Standel/Harptone group are a labor of love for me and hopefully bring about a better appreciation and maybe increase their value a bit. Who knows? The year is determined by the label. Harptone label is a 67. Standels label 68. Lark L6-S. 17" bout. 3 3/4" deep body. Adjustable saddle. Deluxe trim. Very good condition with some wear.
