This is a sad sale of m wife's spur thighed tortoise. She is lovely and loves to eat and is really friendly, has to go as we have no time for her as she is in with our Hermann's and is a lot bigger. Tunisian spur thighed tortoise

Adult Uk Cb proven Testudo graeca nabeulensis (Tunisian spurthighed) male. Fully grown measuring around 12cms. Non hibernating species so does need to be kept warm and dry over winter. This little chap is use to spending summer outside in a secure stony enclosure with hot box and edible plants and being brought in at night, Spending cooler/wet and winter days in a large indoor enclosure with uv/heat lamp. He needs to be housed alone due to being quite a tyrant to females but also this species are sensitive to alien pathogens from other tortoises so must NOT be mixed with other species. Ideal species for those looking not to hibernate or wanting a large species. He has been fed on a natural diet of plants and vit supplements. Cute little chap only selling due to work commitments.
