I fitted new belts a few months ago - the original ones had stretched - and also lubricated the capstan motor which is used for Play and Record functions. Cosmetically the fascia is in very good unmarked condition - there are some scratches and blemishes on the top caused by age and stacking. I've recently upgraded to the top-of-the-range XK-009, so my XK-007 - which is the same except for the auto tape calibration system - is now available. 3-head, dual capstan, manual bias and recording level calibration system, Dolby B/C and HX Pro, DBX, 20Hz to 20kHz (Metal tape), incredible S/N 95dB with DBX, wow and flutter %, dimensions 430 x 135 x 420mm, weight 8.1kg. Received good reviews and has an incredibly detailed sound. Excellent cosmetic and working condition. The original belts were beginning to stretch so I replaced them a few months ago.
