You might have found that new minidiscdecks are expensive, and that good used examples are rarely advertised. I have for sale, in perfect working order but no longer required, an MDS-JE440. As a minidisc recorder, the MDS-JE440 will accept either analog or digital optical inputs from your choice of source equipment -- record player, tape recorder, analog amplifier or digital CD player/DBS receiver. For playback of minidiscs the [analog] audio output of the MDS-JE440 can be connected to the 'AUX' sockets of your hifi systems amplifier. The device can also be used as a preamplifier, such as routeing the output from your record deck to your hifi receiver's 'AUX' sockets. As I've said, my MDS-JE440 minidiscdeck is in 100% perfect working condition: it's just not been used very much recently. I'm including the essential remote control [sorry, no batteries] and User Manual. To get you started I'm also including a box of 6 minidiscs, unused, still in their wrappers.
