Not just a hole in the ground, this is a rigid moulded liner with a 750 litre water capacity. It is approximately 6.5' long, 5' wide and 20" deep, all at the biggest points, with a couple of shelves inside. We had a range of plants in and around it, and 6 goldfish grew from tiny tiddlers to be about 6-8" long. (Then a Heron found them!) The sole survivor was re-homed in Cupar and the frogs that moved in (though we have no idea how they got here) have all been re-homed locally. There are no leaks, but it does have an overflow hole. I had plugged a seperate hole for a water supply that I didn't need - the rain has alays kept it topped up! It isn't heavy and can easily go on a roofrack - that's how I brought it home. Here I am selling all our fish and pond filtering system, including pump and UV light. There are some 300 fish in the pond (approx.). All healthy (no signs of disease). Water was tested recently, and is perfectly good (although slightly green this time of the year). Filtering system is on 24/7 (as per 3rd photo) and is cleaned frequently during the summer. The pond contains Litres of water (approx.). Last time we had a casualty was 2 years ago. Fish are healthy and happy. We feed them every day (between April and end of October). They stop eating when it gets cold (the go into what is called "semi-hibernation"). Full description: 8 of them are large Koi Carp (as per 2nd photo). 2 are Ghost Koi, one is fully grown (about 55cm long), the second is about 4 years old (about 40cm long). 2 large Koi Carp (about 60cm each, fully grown). 4 large Koi Carp (about 40cm long each, about 4 years old. Also, a large number of Koi and Gold fish in different colours. Could be anything between 250 and 500 fish in the pond. The fish are worth several thousand pounds.
